It's the substitute Daniel Sturridge who runs across the 18-yard box. He doesn't catch the shot well. Sadio Mane reacts well - quicker than Ashley Williams and Ramiro Funes Mori. It was good work from Liverpool and they probably deserve the victory.
Everton 0-1 Liverpool
What a clearance! Roberto Firmino fires past Joel Robles from a cut-back from Sadio Mane but Seamus Coleman somehow cuts it off!
Everton 0-1 Liverpool
There was a flare thrown onto the pitch which will add a bit more stoppage time, and now we have an invader too.
Liverpool have not been great tonight but they are going second, six points behind Chelsea. Still time left...
Sadio Mane
A goal! It did not look like coming but Daniel Sturridge makes something from nothing. It's a run across the 18-yard-line from right to left from the substitute, then a bobbled, miscued shot which squeaks past Joel Robles and hits the post. It bounces out meekly and Sadio Mane responds quicker than Robles or Ashley Williams to get there and slam in.
Surely the winner!
Everton 0-0 Liverpool
A slip from Dejan Lovren opens up a channel for Romelu Lukaku and he powers past and into the area, he's crowded out though by some determined defending and it comes to nothing.
Everton 0-0 Liverpool
Something to remember this game by, perhaps. There was a long pause when Maarten Stekelenburg was injured.
Everton win a free-kick and Ross Barkley plants it into the crowd. Dreadful.

EIGHT MINUTES ADDED ON. EIGHT! (8)
Everton 0-0 Liverpool
We're after the watershed James, don't worry. Joel Robles makes a fudge of claiming a cross but Everton scramble it away.

Emre Can embodies this game as he looks up and slams a pass 40 yards too hard and into the stands, under no real pressure. Coming to a GIF near you soon.
Everton 0-0 Liverpool
Liverpool work the ball into the area but Roberto Firmino can't bring the ball under control and get a shot away. Jurgen Klopp is tearing into the fourth official.

Former Everton winger on MOTD2
All the tempo we saw from Everton before half-time has gone from them now. They are not on the front foot as much as they were and are just trying to contain Liverpool at the moment.
Liverpool are having a lot more of the ball now but you would not say they are creating an awful lot either. They went close with that Roberto Firmino shot but that was only their second shot on target - we have not seen a lot of quality from either side really.
Kevin Kilbane joins Charlie Adam and Mark Chapman on MOTD2 at 22:45 GMT on BBC One and the BBC Sport website for highlights of the Merseyside derby and the weekend’s Premier League games.
Everton 0-0 Liverpool
That's another poor tackle as Idrissa Gueye slices through Sadio Mane. BOOKED.
Everton 0-0 Liverpool
Daniel Sturridge has scored four goals in his last five league appearances against Everton for Liverpool.
Romelu Lukaku fouls his man and in the stoppage Jordan Henderson and Ross Barkley have a few words again. Neither man is backing down. Barkley should be off.
Everton 0-0 Liverpool
On come Daniel Sturridge and Emre Can for Divock Origi and Adam Lallana. Liverpool go for it.
Everton 0-0 Liverpool
Keep the faith, goal fans. Everton have scored a goal in the final five minutes in four of their last five Premier League matches – three of these have changed the outcome of that match.
Everton 0-0 Liverpool
Oh what a save! The best chance of the match as Roberto Firmino finds a pocket of space to meet a corner from the right, he steers a volley powerfully towards the corner and Joel Robles makes a flying save!
