An hour gone and the second half has pretty much followed the same pattern as the first. Marseille have shown a tad more ambition in the final third, but are still to register a single shot on goal. Blaise Matuidi has come on for Marco Verratti and the Italian has a few frustrated words with PSG boss Unai Emery as he traipses off the pitch.

Joshua Williams: Bale wasted on the right. Every time he's attacked down the left he looks the most dangerous winger in the world.

Moments after that substitution, the two players I was slightly criticising link up but Cristiano Ronaldo fires over Gareth Bale's cross from about 10 yards out.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane makes his first change - and it's not a popular one. Isco, who has been arguably their best player, comes off for Lucas Vazquez. Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, neither of whom are playing well, stay on.

Real Madrid have their first chance in quite a while and the lively Isco picks out Karim Benzema with a cross but the Frenchman's header is easily saved by Gorka Iraizoz.

Real Madrid are looking really shaky and Mikel Rico drives a shot over from the edge of the box as the hosts only half-clear a corner.

Athletic midfielder Raul Garcia, a La Liga winner with Atletico a couple of years ago, is booked for catching Gareth Bale with an arm.

This is a huge chance for Athletic and Inaki Williams should have put them 2-1 up. Real Madrid go to sleep at the back and the ball breaks for the reported Liverpool target, who just lifts the ball over the crossbar from about 18 yards out.

A head-in-hands moment for the 22-year-old. Literally.

Back under way at the Parc des Princes. Lots of shouts of 'Allez Allez' from PSG's players in the tunnel before they headed out on the pitch. Marseille have made a change, bringing on Zinedine Machach for Tottenham loanee Clinton N'Jie.

Inigo Lekue and Gareth Bale seem to tangle in the box and Real Madrid's fans are screaming for a penalty. To be fair, the Real players didn't seem to strongly appeal for one. Nothing given.

Gareth Bale has attempted about three crosses from the left in the space of 60 seconds but they're all cleared away.

Real Madrid left-back Marcelo, who isn't having the best game (he said euphemistically), crosses the ball straight out of play.
