It's just total Real Madrid dominance now. Gareth Bale has their latest chance, heading Marcelo's cross over the bar.
PSG 0-0 Marseille
As expected it's been all PSG in the early stages. Marseille have started with a back three and the trio of defenders have quickly found themselves under pressure from the home side in the first 10 minutes. Marseille boss Rudi Garcia is already on his feet in the technical area issuing instructions, his hood pulled up in the driving rain.
Real Madrid 1-0 Athletic Bilbao
And now Cristiano Ronaldo goes close, but drags his 20-yard shot wide of the goal. Athletic were looking decent until Karim Benzema's goal, but this game could very quickly get beyond them.
Real Madrid 1-0 Athletic Bilbao
Seconds after Karim Benzema's opener, Toni Kroos has a chance to double the lead but it's straight at Gorka Iraizoz.
Karim Benzema (7 mins)
Real Madrid are ahead. Marcelo plays a long ball forward to Isco but Athletic defender Enric Saborit looks like he has it. However he slips and Isco is able to square it to Karim Benzema, who steers the ball home.

Athletic winger Inaki Williams forces a save from Keylor Navas after a nice team move. The corner is well cleared by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid midfielder Isco pulls up as he tries to intercept a pass. He's OK to continue but a brief worry there for the Spaniard.
Real Madrid 0-0 Athletic Bilbao
The corner comes to nothing as it ends up with Mikel Rico, who boots the ball out for a goal-kick when he was trying to knock it back into the mixer.
Real Madrid 0-0 Athletic Bilbao
A good start for Athletic, who have won an early corner.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane: “We want to carry on how we're going.
"We've had a great week and after Tuesday's game we've gone back to work. We're in good shape and looking forward to playing against Athletic.
“I'm happy to be here every day as a coach and the important thing for us is to keep going because we've won nothing yet.
"I'm lucky enough to have experienced it as a player because you can have four or six good months and then things get tougher.
"Now I'm motivated every day and everyone involved with this team is doing a great job."
Villarreal 2-1 Las Palmas
Real Madrid actually go into this game fifth, despite the fact a win will take them top.
Villarreal have just moved into the top three thanks to a 2-1 win over Las Palmas. Kevin Prince-Boateng gave the minnows the lead with a wonder-goal that has been posted about a million times into my Twitter timeline.
But Nicola Sansone equalised from a penalty and Cedric Bakambu scored in injury time to win it for the Yellow Submarine.

Real Madrid today named Paco Gento as their new honorary president. The 83-year-old is the only player to win six European Cups, all with the Spanish side.
The former Spain international scored 182 goals in 601 games for Real, winning 12 league titles.
Alfredo di Stefano, who died two years ago, had been the honorary president since 2000.
"I know our great Alfredo di Stefano would be proud that you are his replacement as head of the presidency," said president Florentino Perez.

PSG v Marsellie (19:45 BST)
Paris St-Germain boss Unai Emery reckons new Marseille manager Rudi Garcia has not quite had enough time to make his presence felt at the club.
Marseille are currently languishing in the lower half of the Ligue 1 table, and have yet to win on the road this season ahead of the clash at the Parc des Princes.
"The appointment of Rudi Garcia will change things but, having come in so late, he will not have had chance to make big changes in the team," Emery said.
"From our point of view we are preparing for the match based on the nine games Marseille have played so far, while also studying the style of Rudi Garcia's former teams."
