First change for Brighton sees Oliver Norwood come on in midfield in place of Sam Baldock.

Gary O'Neil is back on for Bristol City, but there's still little way through for Lee Johnson's men.

Hordur Magnusson launches a couple of long throws into the Brighton box, but once again the Seagulls have the answer.

    Into the last 20 minutes.

Break in play once more as Gary O'Neil goes down clutching his head after what looked like a high boot.

After a long pause, O'Neil is taken to the touchline and has to wait to return to the action while Bristol City float in a free-kick.

It comes to nothing for the hosts as the delivery can't find a red shirt.

Glenn Murray and Sam Baldock show some quick feet as they combine for Brighton on the edge of the Bristol City area.

Ball finds itself out on the right to Jiri Skalak who takes the shot from a tight angle but Richard O'Donnell palms it over and behind for a corner kick.

More trickery on the left for Brighton from Sam Baldock who back heels and wriggles out of a Bristol City challenge near the byline before firing a ball across the face of goal.

Nobody on the end of it sadly in a Brighton shirt for a third goal.

Treatment for Brighton's Jiri Skalak after a clash of heads on halfway.

The break in play allows the television director to replay Steve Sidwell's opening goal from the first half a few more times.

It really is worth watching again... unless you're Richard O'Donnell.

    Bristol City 0-2 Brighton

Gary O'Neil finds himself in the book for a foul on Brighton's Jamie Murphy.

Not much of an advantage taken though from the free-kick out left which sails very high and wide as the Seagulls try and float it across the box.

    Bristol City 0-2 Brighton

More encouraging stuff from Bristol City as they keep possession on the edge of Brighton's area, but a volley from Gary O'Neil is easily gathered by David Stockdale.

Still no defence-splitting pass from the hosts.

    Bristol City 0-2 Brighton

Brighton are currently protecting a very impressive defensive record in the Championship.

They've now gone more than 500 minutes without conceding a goal and you can see why from how they're organised with Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy at the back.

Meanwhile, as they break forward Jiri Skalak takes a snap shot wide to the right when maybe he might have chosen better to square it across goal.

As we told you before kick-off, Wolves have confirmed the appointment of former Aston Villa and Norwich manager Paul Lambert as their new head coach.

Here's the thoughts of BBC WM's Wolves correspondent Mike Taylor:

"Lambert's appointment has been expected for several days, after he quickly emerged as one of the leading contenders under consideration.

"It can be convincingly argued that his struggles at Aston Villa and Blackburn were made worse by noises off at both clubs, and Wolves will be hopeful that his great success at Norwich is his most relevant experience.

"The size of his task was made all too obvious by Wolves' lamentable first-half performance against Derby - the club's new owners will be expectant, but must also appreciate that a strong promotion challenge this season will be difficult from the current position."

Fireworks displays appear to be going off around Ashton Gate in the closing stages of this first half.

But, the real firework in this game came from the boot of Steve Sidwell with that opening goal for Brighton from the halfway line.

No real spark as yet though from Bristol City.

    Bristol City 0-2 Brighton

A patient spell in this first half culminates in Jamie Murphy causing more problems down the left for Brighton.

A surging run into the area sees him square it to the penalty spot, but Jiri Skalak is unable to set himself for the shot.

    Brighton well on top.

Scott Golbourne heads a deep ball back across goal for Bristol City, but there's nobody coming in to finish off and Glenn Murray can hoof it clear.

A surge forward by Bristol City from Jamie Paterson finds Lee Tomlin on the edge of Brighton's area.

There's half an appeal for a handball against Gaetan Bong, but nothing doing.

A following free-kick for City is skewed well wide by Joe Bryan. Poor from the hosts.

A penny for Lee Johnson's thoughts on the touchline right now.

His Bristol City side haven't done a lot wrong in this one yet find themselves two goals behind.
