    Wolves 0-2 Derby County

    This is better from Wolves.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson's cute back-heels sends Ivan Cavaleiro scampering clear down the left.

They have a three on two for a moment, but the Portuguese dwells on the ball, ends up running down a blind alley and the chance has gone.

At last a decent attack from Wolves. Richard Keogh got behind his goalkeeper Scott Carson there, the only place he really could've gone and made a superb block on the line.

  3. CLOSE!published at 57 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Derby County

That's as close as Wolves have come today.

Matt Doherty and Helder Costa combine brilliantly down the Wolves right to tee up Ivan Cavaleiro, whose shot is cleared off the line by Richard Keogh.

Wolves win back-to-back corners too but can't make the most of them.

Derby have started this second half slowly for me. They've got to get that intensity from the first half back again and keep getting stuck into Wolves.

Not a few minutes to remember form Dominic Iorfa who almost has his pocket picked by Darren Bent, before fouling the former England striker after completely missing his header.

Bent has given the Wolves defenders the run-around this afternoon.

Five minutes gone in the second half already, and it's fair to say Wolves haven't been able to make the fast start they would have liked.

Derby are keeping them at arms' length.

And the stop-start nature of the start of the second half continues as Dominic Iorfa needs treatment after colliding with Tom Ince.

Cyrus Christie, who was injured in a challenge with Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, before half-time, has started the second half but it's clear he cannot continue.

Boss Steve McClaren calls on Jamie Hanson to replace the Rams right-back.

    Quote Message

I don't get that. If he was struggling in the changing room during half-time, why send him out there to just get taken off after 30 seconds? He's only going to cause more damage by running on it more.

Wolves' players are out early for the second half. I wonder what caretaker boss Rob Edwards had to say?

With the return of the yellow football and the early evenings, we're asking for your tales of lost footballs in the dark months of winter via #bbcefl this afternoon.

It got Adam Williams on the team thinking back to an under-12s match for his school Brentwood at Chigwell in Essex in the mid-1990s.

After an emphatic clearance out of touch (probably from the boot of left-back Williams) the ball sailed over a pitch-side hedge and into a tennis court the other side.

As a team-mate went to retrieve it from a gap in the fence, a voice from the home side shouted: "Don't go in there, it's Alan Sugar's house.

"His security guards will set the dogs on you!"

Finally, Wolves are put out of their misery as the half-time whistle goes.

That's been a chastening 45 minutes for the home side who have been second best in every area.

Derby have been by far the better side and should really have this wrapped up by now.

And there was the opportunity there to possibly wrap up all three points for Derby.

Johnny Russell gets in behind the Wolves defence but his cross is only inches too far in front of Darren Bent.

There will be two minutes of stoppage time... which might feel two minutes too long for Wolves.

Once again Wolves struggle to keep the ball inside their own half and hand Derby another opportunity as Johnny Russell tries his luck from 30 yards.

Thankfully for the home side, his shot flies off target.
