I say that, there's an opportunity for Crystal Palace to do something now as they win a free-kick 30 yards from goal when Wilfried Zaha is pulled back by Nacho Monreal, who is booked as a result. Jordon Mutch takes the free-kick, but overhits it and sends the ball out of play. Wasted.

Crystal Palace's players are starting to look a little leggy. They've got Swansea visiting on Tuesday and it's getting to the point where they might think their energy is better being conserved for that game.

Arsenal have five very good fixtures coming up, and they will hope that Chelsea will have dropped points by the end of that run.

There's a long way to go in this season yet.

Alex Iwobi, scorer of Arsenal's second, is the third and final player to go off for the Gunners, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on for the final 13 minutes.

Christian Benteke's game is done for Crystal Palace. He makes way for Fraizer Campbell. It could have been a different game if Benteke had put that header away early in the second half.

Is this turning into Arsenal's best team? There's a really good balance in the team, sometimes the best players don't make the best team.

Iwobi has played excellently in that central role, and Xhaka and Elneny have an excellent balance in the middle of midfield.

First change of the game as Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce sends on Jordon Mutch for Yohan Cabaye.

Allardyce's poor record at Arsenal looks set to continue. This will be his 10th defeat at the Gunners unless his side can produce something special in the final 25 minutes.

Decent spell from Crystal Palace at the moment as Petr Cech pushes behind Andros Townsend's whipped cross towards the far post. Where was this urgency when Palace were 1-0 down?

Jon Evans: Arsenal look more like the Arsenal of old. Doubt they will win the league but playing better than they have for a few years.

That goal has brought Crystal Palace to life and only a fine couple of saves by Petr Cech keep them at bay. First, the Arsenal keeper palms away Wilfried Zaha's header before punching clear Yohan Cabaye's long-range strike.

I think Iwobi deserves that goal. He's almost a free man in there, just roaming into the box.

It's not an easy ball to deal with, but he finishes it very well.

You can't invite so much pressure onto yourselves like Palace were doing, it was just a matter of time before Arsenal scored a second.

Arsenal have been at their best in this game when they attack quickly and decisively - as they did for Olivier Giroud's goal. When they try to patiently work an opening, they struggle. They exchange several neat passes on the edge of the Crystal Palace box before Alexis Sanchez's attempt to slip Nacho Monreal in is snuffed out.

That's what Palace have been waiting for. Townsend does unbelievably well, Benteke comes to meet it, he just can't put it where he wants it.
