  1. WHAT A MISS!published at 61 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Man Utd

Michail Antonio missed one earlier and does the same again.

Manchester United give the ball away and Manuel Lanzini picks the ball up. The Argentine plays a beautifully precise though ball to Antonio, but one-on-one with David de Gea, Antonio hits it straight at the Manchester United goalkeeper.

The West Ham man cannot believe he has missed and neither can boss Slaven Bilic.

Marcus Rashford has scored a couple of goals against West Ham if I recall. He will be confident coming on here, especially knowing the home side are down to 10.

    West Ham 0-0 Man Utd

West Ham's one-man disadvantage is showing up in terms of territory and play in the final third. Their touch map (left) shows a lack of activity in and around the Manchester United penalty area.

The visitors (right) are showing some threat, as you may expect.

    And here is the change.

Jesse Lingard off, Marcus Rashford on.

Paul Pogba to Henrikh Mkhitaryan and through to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but the Manchester United striker does not have the pace to beat Havard Nortveit, who rushes back to retrieve the ball for his side.

Marcus Rashford readying himself to come on.

Jesse Lingard the likeliest candidate to get hooked.

The West Ham fans are roaring every pass, even if it goes nowhere. I like it.

    West Ham 0-0 Man Utd

Manchester United fans appeal for a handball as the ball bounces in the area and onto Pedro Obiang.

    Not a penalty.

The West Ham fans then scream "HANDBALL" every time their player passes the ball.

    Football fans are so original.

What a chance. If you want a headed chance to fall to anyone it's Michail Antonio. A great Dimitri Payet delivery but Antonio could not get enough on it.

Did you know? Antonio scored more headed goals than any Premier League player in 2016.

Dave W: No way Jose. If you really think Lingard is in a first choice starting 11 then you are past your managerial sell by date.

Mwalimu Pedro: Bring Rashford on. Lingard seems to be having an off day on the flanks ... probably too much New Years Eve partying

  11. CLOSE!published at 53 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Man Utd

Dimitri Payet whips a brilliant ball into the box towards Michail Antonio.

Usually so prolific in the air, the West Ham man takes his eye off the ball and it skims off his head and away for a goal kick.

    A bad miss.

    Mike Dean involved again.

This time the referee inadvertantly blocks Cheikhou Kouyate's pass, and then awards a free-kick as the West Ham man makes a rash challenge on Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

West Ham almost gift Manchester United the opener as Havard Nortveidt sells Darren Randolph short with a back pass.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic closing in, Randolph gets there in the nick of time to slide out and clear the ball away.

Manchester United start the second half on the front foot.

They work the ball around nicely, before Jesse Lingard curls a shot from 30 yards over the crossbar.

Jose Mourinho will have told his players to make a big improvement in this second 45.
