Still the first half at Reading where we kicked-off at 20:00 GMT.

But, there's a brief interruption at the Madejski Stadium as the referee decides to chat to the fourth official.

BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor says he's struggling to see goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi out there at times and he's wearing a bright blue top.

  2. Half-time: League Twopublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2016

    Eat.Sleep.Score.Repeat.

That's the drill for Wycombe's top-scorer Scott Kashket who's hit the back of the net once again to give his side a 1-0 half-time lead against Cheltenham.

Hartlepool United are also on the way to giving their fans a belated Christmas treat, they scored three goals in 24 minutes to go in 3-0 up against Morecambe at the interval.

And it's goalless in the game between Yeovil Town and Portsmouth, but we think the players may well be having some trouble seeing the ball...

  3. Half-time: League Onepublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2016

Four games tonight in League One and only one with little to report.

Millwall lead Gillingham 1-0 at the break as they continue their push for a play-off place.

MK Dons looked to be cruising at 2-0 against Swindon, but their fellow strugglers pulled one back before half-time to add to Dons manager Robbie Neilson's worries.

Port Vale against Chesterfield is still goalless, could blame the weather or Christmas for that one, take your pick.

And Rochdale take a healthy 2-0 lead into the break in their game against Shrewsbury, who at this point, are moving even deeper in the relegation zone.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2016

    Newcastle United 1-1 Nottingham Forest

After several minutes of first-half stoppage time, we reach the interval at St James' Park.

Newcastle got off to a flier with Matt Ritchie's deflected free-kick, but Forest have pegged them back through Nicolao Dumitru's half-volley.

    Reading 0-0 Fulham

Half hour mark reached at Reading and despite a couple of decent saves from Fulham keeper David Button, the main talking point has been the thickening fog.

In case you weren't with us earlier, we've already lost one game to the elements tonight when Brighton v Cardiff was postponed just after 18:00 GMT due to thick fog.

Could we have an abandonement to add to it?

  8. Rochdale hitting the doublespublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2016

Rochdale are now doubley happy that their game went ahead following a pitch inspection.

Steve Davies has doubled their lead against struggling Shrewsbury Town as his side look to cement their spot in the play-off places.

Meanwhile at Stadium MK it was all looking good for MK Dons, but Swindon Town are back in the game throughLuke Norris, who made it 2-1 to the Dons with 10 minutes to go before the break.

Into the last 10 minutes of the first half at St James' Park and some worries for Rafa Benitez all of a sudden after seeing his side pegged back by Forest.

A few grumbles of discontent among the home crowd too as the Magpies look a touch shaky at the back.

Just over 20 minutes gone at the Madejski Stadium and I might have spoken a bit too soon about that fog lifting.

It's still lingering around in Berkshire, but little goalmouth incident of note so far, I think....

    Newcastle United 1-1 Nottingham Forest

    ForestImage source, PA

    Who saw this coming?

Nottingham Forest equalise unexpectedly at St James' Park through Nicolao Dumitru.

An absolute calamity in the Newcastle defence as they let a ball from the right sail across their own six-yard box. After failing to clear twice, Dumitry swivels on his left to half-volley it past Karl Darlow, a former Forest player of course.

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Bristol City

Still little of note at Portman Road.

Ipswich fans will desperately want to see the back of 2016, which has produced an average of 0.9 goals per game for them.

Little sign of that changing so far tonight.

  15. Hartlepool at the treblepublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2016

24 minutes gone, and no Hartlepool fans, this is not a dream...your side are now 3-0 up against Morecambe.

Nicky Featherstone has grabbed a third and as it stands, you're on the move up to 17th in the table.

  16. Postpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2016

    Reading 0-0 Fulham

First decent chance of the night at the Madejski Stadium falls to Reading and Garath McCleary.

Lovely through ball from Yann Kermorgant plays in the Jamaica international, but David Button is able to palm his low show around the post and behind for a corner.

MK Dons are ahead at Stadium MK under new manager Robbie Neilson - Kieran Agard has bagged two early goals against Swindon Town. Neilson has won just two of his first six games in charge but they're on the scoresheet first this evening.

Elsewhere, Millwall have also taken the lead against Gillingham courtesy of Lee Gregory and it remains Port Vale 0-0 Chesterfield in the final League One fixture.

Forest have steadied the flow a bit of Newcastle's possession after that early Matt Ritchie goal.

Ritchie finds some space for himself again to cut in from the left but this time his shot is straight at Vladimir Stojkovic in the visitors' goal.

    Reading 0-0 Fulham

Off and running in Berkshire in the 20:00 GMT kick-off and the good news is the earlier fog appears to have lifted just off the M4.

Both sides make early forays into the opposition's half but not much cohesion yet in attack for either side.
