  1. Intensity v Organisationpublished at 12:24

Tottenham v West Brom (12:30 GMT)

So, kick-off fast approaching at White Hart Lane, where the players are in the tunnel. It's a bit chilly to be honest, so some of them might want to stay there.

The players won't be cold for long, mind you. Intensity and energy are some of the hallmarks of this Spurs side. Organisation, determination are what you get from West Brom.

    Which will prevail?

Tottenham v West Brom (12:30 GMT)

    Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on Radio 5 live

West Brom caused a massive upset here last season and they scuppered Spurs' final run in to trying to claim the title.

Tottenham are very strong at White Hart Lane but West Brom are dogged and determined - as a team they're very difficult to break down.

  3. 'Phillips key to West Brom turn-around'published at 12:21

West Brom have been nothing short of impressive since they beat Leicester in November.

Before that, they were at a low ebb but they moved Matt Phillips out to the left-hand side and since then he's created and scored goals and West Brom haven't looked behind.

Tottenham v West Brom (12:30 GMT)

There's sometimes two ways to look at statistics. There was me banging on earlier about how West Brom have not lost at the Lane in their last four visits.

But the glass half-empty Albion fan would say Spurs are their bogey team, having registered just one win against the north London club in their past 14 attempts.

Anyway, the graphic below focuses on the positives, so should hopefully cheer them up...

  5. A reminder of the teams... and the tablepublished at 12:17

Tottenham v West Brom (12:30 GMT)

Tottenham fans will not need reminding that Nacer Chadli started the season like a train after joining West Brom from Spurs in the summer.

Chadli got four goals and two assists in his first five games for the Baggies, including their goal in their 1-1 draw with Tottenham at The Hawthorns in October. (Dele Alli got a late equaliser in that game - you can't keep him out of the news, can you?)

Chadli has been injured and gone off the boil a bit since then, but will a return to the Lane spark him into life? We are very close to finding out... here's a reminder of how both teams line up today.

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Walker, Dier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Dembele, Eriksen, Dele, Kane.

West Brom XI: Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Brunt; Fletcher, Yacob; Chadli, Morrison, Phillips; Rondon.

As far as the table goes, Tottenham are third as you can see above. West Brom? Eighth, 10 points behind Man Utd.

Match of the Day commentator at White Hart Lane

Is there a more promising and in-form midfielder than Dele Alli anywhere in Europe?

It's not just about the seven goals in four league games. His vision, craft, presence and work rate change matches.

But Spurs will remember his final game of last season - the 1-1 April home draw with West Brom which triggered the collapse of the title challenge. He was banned for punching Claudio Yacob. It probably cost them the league.

He and Spurs are firing now though and must make this count. But the Baggies have a decent record against them and Matt Phillips carries a major threat.

  7. When Dele lost the plot...published at 12:12

It seems like everyone is talking about Dele Alli. Probably because they are. Me included, obviously...

But here's Jonathan Pearce, who is at White Hart Lane today to commentate for MOTD, with a reminder of when things went wrong for Tottenham's young star... (it was against the Baggies too).

  8. 'I'd want Dele if I was Real or Barca boss'published at 12:09

Tottenham v West Brom (12:30 GMT)

Ssssh Ossie! Spurs fans won't want to hear legendary midfielder Ossie Ardiles say Real Madrid and Barcelona should target Dele Alli - but he's probably right.

"Success breeds success, and a lot of Tottenham's players are starting to demand interest from different clubs," the Argentine tells Sky Sports.

"Real Madrid and Barcelona are going to be interested and I would say Dele Alli is the prime suspect right now.

"Everyone wants him, and if I was the manager of Real Madrid and Barcelona, I would want him. He is a wonderful player and very young."

The Baggies will create chances at White Hart Lane and will make it difficult for Tottenham, as they do against every team.

But I still expect Tottenham to win, because they are absolutely flying right now. Dele Alli is on fire for Spurs and the game must seem so easy to him at the moment.

He made the difference in their win over top-of-the-table Chelsea in their last Premier League game, when he stood out from every other player on the pitch.

When Alli is in that kind of form, Spurs are hard to stop.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-0

  10. Are the Baggies Tottenham's bogey team?published at 12:01

Tottenham v West Brom (12:30 GMT)

Hello. Right then, time to turn our attention to what is happening at White Hart Lane...

Tottenham are going for their sixth straight league win and have not lost here all season. Got to fancy them to keep this run going, no?

But hang on, are the Baggies their bogey team?

Spurs have not beaten West Brom at home since January 2012 - in their last four meetings in North London, they have drawn three and lost one.

And Tony Pulis's side are having a decent season themselves. Up in eighth and chasing a third successive league victory.

    All to play for then...

    Leicester v Chelsea (17:30 GMT)

Antonio Conte's mantelpiece is becoming rather packed.

The Chelsea manager has to find room for ANOTHER Premier League manager of the month award after winning the gong for the third month in a row.

The Italian is the first boss to do the 'treble' in Premier League history.

And there's not been a manager of the month 'curse' in sight. Yet.

  13. Ranieri hopes Chelsea win titlepublished at 11:58 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

Leicester City v Chelsea (17:30 GMT)

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri believes Premier League leaders Chelsea can be caught.

The former Blues boss, who guided the Foxes to the title in 2015-16, said: "After a few matches Antonio Conte understood the team and the players. They had 13 (straight wins) which is an amazing achievement and then lost to Tottenham.

"They are old champions and they want to make up for defeat.

"But the league is very long and they must be careful, they can be caught. I am a sporting man, I want the best to win the title but of course, if I had to give someone the title, why not Chelsea?"

That 'Diego Costa to China' story has really stirred things up as we reach the halfway point in the transfer window. Should he stay, or should he go? Get involved - text 81111 or tweet using #bbcfootball.

The reaction to this story just highlights how valued and loved Costa is by Chelsea. He would never get the same passion for him in China.

West Ham v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

Today sees Sam Allardyce go up against one of his former clubs as Crystal Palace take on West Ham.

Allardyce said: "I don't reflect on the past very often, but I did have four very enjoyable years at West Ham. I really enjoyed living in London.

"I am looking forward to the game, it is my first time back in the new stadium. It will be interesting to see behind the scenes and the result is the most important thing.

"[My reception] was all right when I went back with Sunderland. It wasn't a problem - I expect the reception if we start winning won't be too clever."

    Jermaine Jenas
Former England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

When Dimitri Payet arrived at West Ham, I kept hearing people ask 'where has this guy been?' It was like this guy is an unreal talent. It's probably part of his make-up…he's one of these guys who will down tools when it’s time to collect his money or move on.

Loyalty has gone out of the window in the game. When clubs have finished with players they treat them like rubbish. Dimitri Payet is not going to turn down a five-year contract on £100,000-a-week.

From West Ham's perspective, let him go. I sympathise with West Ham, but move on. There is a bigger picture here.

We've been talking about Diego Costa a lot today, and West Ham are also having to deal with an unhappy key player as Dimitri Payet wants a move back to former club Marseille.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is not too impressed, as you can see below.

Some may argue Erik Lamela would start if fit but this is surely as strong as Spurs can be right now.

It's nine changes in all from their FA Cup XI last week. Remember, Spurs are seeking a seventh straight win.

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Walker, Dier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Dembele, Eriksen, Dele, Kane.

Tony Pulis makes three changes from the side which lost to Derby in last week's FA Cup. Ben Foster returns in goal, Chris Brunt is in at left back for his 200th outing in the Premier League and notably, Nacer Chadli returns to the team and will face his former club.

Yes they lost to Derby, but West Brom are chasing a third league win in a row.

West Brom XI: Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Brunt; Fletcher, Yacob; Chadli, Morrison, Phillips; Rondon.
