All the damage was done in the first half when Tottenham could've had five.

Harry Kane was exceptional and could've had two hat-tricks but he was magnificent in front of goal.

It's been a great week for him and a fantastic week for Tottenham. They look very solid, there are no weakness anywhere.

The only disappointment is the injury to Jan Vertonghen, depending how that turns out.

West Brom have been comprehensively beaten here - it's only their second straight defeat and first in the Premier League since Boxing Day - but they were outplayed from start to finish.

A seventh win in a row in all competitions for Tottenham and six straight in the Premier League.

  14. 'Alli a great example to youngsters'published at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

Dele Alli is a great example to young players by staying that extra year at MK Dons.

I look at a lot of young players leaving lower-league clubs going to the Premier League and just not playing. A couple of years later they're back down in the Championship.

Sam Byram is a classic example at West Ham - he's barely played but perhaps another year at Leeds and then he'd be playing week-in week-out.

It's tempting to go to a Premier League side but if you're not going to play, back yourself, stay that extra year so when you make that move, you're a first-team regular.

I love that ball Dele Alli played for Harry Kane's third goal. It was perfect.

Just another indication of what Alli is capable of but also what that Alli-Kane combination is capable of.

  19. 'Spurs have no weaknesses'published at 14:12 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

    Tottenham 4-0 West Brom

    Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on Radio 5 live

West Brom just don't have the quality or fitness levels of Tottenham.

I don't see any weak points in this Tottenham side - perhaps until we learn the extent of Vertonghen's injury.

Every player knows their role, knows the system.

If they can keep everyone fit and in form then they are going to have a real chance this season.
