West Brom have not had a shot at goal yet. In truth, they have barely got out of their own half other than those two (terrible) free-kicks and are currently lining up with a back-six, with all 11 men often behind the ball.

The man in that one-man wall? Christian Eriksen.

It's an absolutely outstanding finish from Kane - he's taken it on the half turn and West Brom have left him to drift into space, but then what a finish, right in the top corner.

Tony Pulis will be fuming - 30 seconds before they had a free-kick and hit a one-man wall, allowing Spurs to come back at them.

Just the man Spurs wanted it to drop to and just the man West Brom didn't.

Right then, West Brom have another free-kick in the Tottenham half. Matt Phillips is behind this one. 

Can he do any better this time? Erm, no. He fires it straight into Spurs' one-man wall.

The Baggies have just tried to launch a free-kick into the Spurs area but it did not beat the first man. Here come Tottenham again...

Tottenham have had 76% of possession so far, and they have just had another go at goal too... Danny Rose tees up Harry Kane outside the area this time, and the England striker goes for the top corner. Plenty of power in his shot, but it zips just over.

Great ball in from Danny Rose, just outside the six-yard area, with defenders reluctant to stick their foot out in case they score an own goal.

Harry Kane just couldn't quite steer it in - good, bright start from Spurs.

Not so close this effort from Jan Vertonghen, though. He lets fly from outside the area but his shot clears the Baggies' crossbar by some distance.

Yes, here comes Danny Rose again and this time he finds space to whip in a peach of a curling low cross. 

Harry Kane, who else, is on the end of it after escaping his marker... but his first-time finish flies a whisker wide. That was very close.

Nacer Chadli and Danny Rose have had a few tangles down the Tottenham left already. Chadli has come out on top so far, just about, but I think he is going to have his hands full.

Lots of Spurs possession in the opening moments, but the Baggies have stopped them getting near their area so far.

Spurs played 3-4-3 last time out against Chelsea - there is no team more suited to this in the league. They have great full-backs in Kyle Walker and Danny Rose, while Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele are so under-rated.

Dele Alli needs to keep performing and continue to have that edge to his game.
