What a goal. What a finish.
Roberto Firmino
Roberto Firmino to the rescue! Georginio Wijnaldum shows superb touch to control a long ball forward before crossing for the Brazilian to chest down in the box and fire low into the corner.
Liverpool are the favourites to win this now.

I would be looking to get Lallana back in midfield, take Emre Can off and bring Origi on.
Can is having one of those games.
Liverpool 1-2 Swansea
Liverpool get away with one. Alfie Mawson rises at the near post to meet Gylfi Sigurdsson's outswinging corner and head the ball looping past the far post.
Chalk and cheese, the two halves of this game.

I thought that was very deliberate from Klavan.
It was definitely a free-kick. Whether it was a yellow card is another matter.
Liverpool 1-2 Swansea
Fernando Llorente wants a free-kick on halfway as he tries to get past Ragnar Klavan, runs in to the defender and drops to the turf holding his face. Referee Kevin Friend doesn't give the foul. Had he done so, Klavan could have been in trouble as he is already on a yellow.
What the incident does, though, is halt Liverpool's post-goal flow, which was probably the intention in the first place.

There is a bit of tempo about Liverpool now.
It is going to be interesting in the next 10 minutes. Can Swansea keep high enough up the pitch to keep Liverpool out? They have had to work ever-so hard.

Jordan Henderson shoots but can't generate the requisite power to challenge Lukasz Fabianski, who drops to his left to save.

Naughton has to get closer to Milner to stop the cross and Olsson has to be stronger in the air against Firmino.
That was a good time for Liverpool to score. The fans were getting restless.
Liverpool 1-2 Swansea
Despite the goal, a Liverpool change comes. Daniel Sturridge is introduced at the expense of Philippe Coutinho.
Roberto Firmino
What now, I asked. Well, that's what. Liverpool hit back instantly as Roberto Firmino beats Martin Olsson to a header in the box and powers his effort past Lukasz Fabianski. It was James Milner's cross.
We didn't have a shot on target in the first half. We've had three goals in less than 10 minutes in the second.

You are not going to see a much better goal today.
It was a great move that started on the right then was switched.
What a cross from Carroll followed by a powerful header from down Llorente and Mignolet had no chance.
Fernando Llorente
Wait... what?!
Hats off to whoever is writing this script. You'd never have guessed this twist. Fernando Llorente rises high above the Liverpool defence to meet a Tom Carroll cross and plant his header past Simon Mignolet.
Paul Clement's men are flying.
What now Liverpool?

Easy goal for Swansea.
They had set up to hit Liverpool on the break and now they have to just keep defending the way they have.
Fernando Llorente
Well, well, well, now we've got a game on our hands. Fernando Llorente gives Swansea the lead. It comes from a corner, which Gylfi Sigurdsson swings over, Federico Fernandez heads down and the Spanish striker hammers in from point-blank range after the ball had been held up by Wayne Routledge.
What a big, big goal it could be for the Swans. And a big, big blow for Liverpool's title credentials.

Andy Cause: No point dominating possession if Liverpool haven't got a goalscorer.
MPP: Liverpool's English players are an embarrassment. Henderson can't pass, Milner is predictable and Clyne looks clueless on the right-hand side.
Paul Walmsley: LFC far too slow and ponderous. No urgency. Desperately missing Mane to unlock the flanks.

Here we go again.

Swansea looking far more composed and solid now. Liverpool have a touch of the Arsenal about them - all is great when the game is open, but they lack the bite and power to break teams down.

Jurgen Klopp is out before his players, prowling along the touchline. Do you suspect he may have given them more than a brief, calm team-talk at the break?
