Met Ashley Cole in his Arsenal days before the Charity Shield against Liverpool. Snubbed us for an autograph, before Martin Keown came along and "convinced" him otherwise. What a legend - Keown not Cole!

Martin Frost: Got snubbed for an autograph by Peter Schmeichel, though probably because I was chasing him in his car nearly causing a crash!

HI/LO: Nodded at Jack Wilshere as if I knew him when out pushing his daughter in a pram. He glared back at me as if I was a Spurs fan.

Dara Sheahan: Asked Packie Bonner for an autograph as he left training with a hand injury in '94. Got a gentle boot in the backside instead!

Sugaspott: Snubbed by legend elect Peter Crouch outside Mahiki nightclub. Karma as he was snubbed by Harry Redknapp for Spurs' next games.

David Cambridge: Once asked Billy Bonds if he was going to give young Steve Jones a game? He just went absolutely mental and lost it - so funny!

West Brom v Sunderland (15:00 GMT)

Last January, Sunderland effectively saved themselves in the transfer window. Under Sam Allardyce they invested in Lamine Kone, Jan Kirchhoff and Wahbi Khazri, who all played a significant part in the club's escape.

I am taking nothing away from Allardyce's achievement by saying that I reckon David Moyes could do just as well given the same opportunity to bolster his squad. But it seems that Sunderland are either unwilling, or unable, to support Moyes in the same way.

West Brom v Sunderland (15:00 GMT)

Are you a Sunderland fan? Are you starting the day with a mild sense of optimism?

David Moyes will soon suck that from you.

The boss says any new signings will struggle to make a significant impact on his team's fortunes after admitting his transfer budget is "limited with a big L".

The Black Cats currently sit second from bottom in the Premier League.

"I'd be kidding if I said the players we're going to bring will massively make a big difference," said Moyes.

"We probably couldn't get that level of player and probably wouldn't have the finances."

Adam Latchford: Not a photo snub but Ryan Giggs refused to cross the ball in when it rolled to him at my old school. He was dropping off his kid.

Dennis Bergkamp was my Arsenal hero so when I saw him in a car in the next lane, whilst I was on a school coach boarding a ferry in France as a 10yr old, I was pretty excited. I banged on the window and his girlfriend got Bergkamp's attention, I was then pretty mortified when he stuck his middle finger up at me and drove off!

Ronald Koeman has put his faith in a teenager by the name of Tom Davies. A young, local lad whose performance against Manchester City was way beyond his years. Everton have a history of unearthing local talent and, although I don't see a Wayne Rooney, I do see a player who has blue blood running through his veins.

Everton were brilliant against Manchester City. Romelu Lukaku keeps scoring and has a good record against Palace. Teenager Tom Davies was scintillating.

Ronald Koeman's kids can be a growing force. Their energy will be difficult for Palace to contain.

Morgan Schneiderlin and Ademola Lookman could make their first starts.
