Imagine a football ground which has a glass wall tunnel where fans can see what is happening as players line-up before a game. Imagine a ground which boasts its very own micro-brewery capable of delivering 10,000 pints per minute. A ground which houses its own in-house bakery.

Imagine no longer. Tottenham's new 61,000-seat stadium, due to open in 2018, will also feature a retractable grass field and an artificial surface underneath it allowing the ground to host football games, NFL matches, concerts and other events.

Unfortunately, all you normal people will not be allowed anywhere near it. Look at the promotion photo above. It is for preppy hipsters and models only. Tough luck.

Take a look at the plans here.

  2. Chance to cut Chelsea's leadpublished at 12:14 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    Top of the Premier League

Leaders Chelsea do not play until Sunday when they entertain Hull City (16:30 GMT) so a chance for the chasing pack to close the gap to cut their seven-point at the top.

Both Liverpool and Tottenham - third and second in the table respectively - can move to within four points of the summit with wins.

Liverpool obviously play Swansea but Tottenham are at Manchester City, who start fifth but can move level on points with Spurs with victory at the Etihad (17:30 GMT).

I once snubbed Marlon Harewood in Harrods. I said I would ask for his autograph, only I don't have a pen. "It's ok, I've got a pen" was the reply. "Nah you're alright mate" Sorry Marlon...you're still a west ham legend!

As for the snubbing footballers thing... It's not so much that I snub them, more that I'm way too socially fragile to deal with the potential rejection. They wouldn't even need to be high-profile. I mean, can you imagine it, getting turned down for an autograph by Marco Boogers?

Cheers Steph. I'm joining you just as the Liverpool and Swansea players take to the pitch at Anfield for their pre-match warm-up. Both teams sporting 'Kick It Out', external t-shirts in support of the organisation that tackles discrimination in football.

Jurgen Klopp is doing his usual 'stare at the opposition while they warm-up' routine. Got to be intimidating. Or at least a bit off-putting. Maybe Paul Clement should have a word - "Oy, mate, you looking at my team?!"

Right, I'm done. Phil Dawkes is here to talk you through the action from Anfield. He's never been snubbed by a footballer. In fact, he says he snubs them...

Let's be honest, Dave. How many of us could say, hand-on-heart, that we would recognise Carl Jenkinson in the same situation? The only way I would know it was him was if he was wearing a T-shirt that said "I am Carl Jenkinson".

We saw Oxlade-Chamberlain in a bar in Italy once, he gave us an autograph. His mate joked "no one ever asks me for one...". Turned out it was Carl Jenkinson and he wasn't really joking. Reverse snub

While the Dimitri Payet saga rumbles along, Andy Carroll has inspired West Ham's recent improvement.

On a day when chances will be scarce, he might be writing the headlines again rather than the want-away Frenchman.

Middlesbrough v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

New signing Patrick Bamford could feature for Middlesbrough after joining from Chelsea on Wednesday.

Gaston Ramirez and Antonio Barragan are injured and Daniel Ayala is banned.

Sofiane Feghouli, Sam Byram and Winston Reid should all shake off knocks for West Ham, and Andy Carroll is expected to recover from whiplash.

Unsettled playmaker Dimitri Payet will not be involved, while Cheikhou Kouyate and Andre Ayew are both at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Middlesbrough v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

Sixteenth in the table and four points clear of safety, Middlesbrough would definitely settle for that on the last day of the season. However, some improvement between now and May would be welcomed.

Aitor Karanka's team have conceded fewer goals than the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City but they're the lowest scorers in the Premier League so it's easy to identify their chief problem.

Resolving it is much harder. If Patrick Bamford can rediscover his form when with the club in the Championship, he'll prove a bargain.

I once got a drink spilt over my back by Joey Allen in a night club in Swansea. I think he was more shocked than I was. He did grab me a pint to say sorry, he didn't fancy a picture though.

Snubbed by Luke Shaw after he'd been injured away vs Arsenal and sent home on the train without the rest of the squad. I'd paid the first class upgrade so I could sit in the same carriage as him as well!
