Eric Bailly does well to get his head to the ball before John Guidetti's studs.

Manchester United will remember what happened in the first leg against Anderlecht in the previous round, where they controlled the game in Belgium but conceded a late equaliser to breathe life into the hosts' hopes.

It's worth underlying that Marcus Rashford has been outstanding tonight. 

He has frightened the living daylights out of that Celta defence and he only gets better. 

And he will get better because there are plenty of areas he can improve in.

It looks like the United striker has got a knock. He is hobbling. The Celta Vigo players are unimpressed though and encourage him to get a shift on in between moaning to the referee about the time taken.

A crunching half-volley right off his instep, fizzes a yard wide and very nearly decapitates a ball boy behind the goal.

The little lad dived for cover behind the advertising hoarding.

Celta Vigo push the pace as Iago Aspas jags in off the right wing, playing a one-two with John Guidetti and trying to get a sight of goal on his favoured left peg.

No room for a shot so Aspas flips the ball out to full-back Jonny whose low cross he volleys wide.

The Celta Vigo fans have dropped the decibel level for the first time all evening.

What can their side find in response? They have had their chances. Not as many as United, but enough to be on the board.

Brilliant from free kick from Manchester United.  

You have to say everyone thought Blind would take that free kick - even the keeper took a step to the left. The two men at the end of the wall were blind-siding the keeper.

A goal right off training ground - A brilliant goal.

John Guidetti has more hustle than Wesley Snipes in White Men Can't Jump.

The Celta striker earns a corner as he yaps at the heels of Eric Bailly, forcing the United defender to usher the ball behind.

Sergio Romero gets up slam-dunk high to claim the corner though.
