The game is beginning to open up again and Reading's Yann Kermorgant plays in a delightful ball to his strike partner Lewis Grabban, but Terriers defender Michael Hefele gets just ahead of him to toe the ball away.

    Oooof!

Nahki Wells wins a free-kick about 30 yards out, which he gets up to take, and smashes the ball into the face of a Reading player in the wall. Ouch.

    Battling.

That's the word I'd use to describe the first two thirds of this match. Neither keeper has really been forced into too much bother so far today.

    Will that change soon?

  5. Surprising change for Townpublished at 68 mins

Ex-Leicester striker, BBC Radio 5 live at Wembley

I can only think that's because he's been booked.

Kachunga had looked lively and he'd looked like one of the players who could change the game for Huddersfield, so I'm surprised at that.

Two substitutions with two players walking a tightrope on a yellow card removed from the action.

Elias Kachunga looked considerably less satisfied than Joey van den Berg did for Reading to be making his way off.

Collin Quaner may prove little respite though for the Reading back three.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 65 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

Huddersfield respond with a substitution of their own.

Collin Quaner, the man that changed the semi-final second leg against Sheffield Wednesday, comes on for Elias Kachunga.

It's fair to say Kachunga is not happy about being taken off.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 63 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

First change of the day for either side as Jordan Obita, back from an ankle injury, comes on for the booked Reading defender Joey van den Berg.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

Huddersfield players want a penalty off that corner as Joey van den Berg gets to a ball ahead of Michael Hefele, but referee Neil Swarbrick is not swayed.

    It would have been harsh.

  10. YELLOW CARD (Kachunga)published at 61 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

Silly booking for Huddersfield forward Elias Kachunga, who is not happy about the decision to award Reading a goal-kick.

But from said goal-kick, Rajiv van La Parra wins the Terriers a corner...

  11. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

Reading win a free-kick on the left-hand side but Huddersfield keeper Danny Ward is commanding and punches the ball clear of danger.

    Poor delivery.

Huddersfield have had great success so far in this game at stopping Reading from building up prolonged spells of possession that have so characterised their season.

While the now darker skies have seen the temperature drop somewhat since half-time, there's still a high tempo to this game when Huddersfield come forward.

Could that play into the Terriers' hands?

  13. Best chance of the game for Royalspublished at 58 mins

    That's a chance that is.

Certainly their best chance of the game there for Grabban, he's got the quality there to do that, to chip the ball with the outside of the boot over the keeper.

  14. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

Lewis Grabban is the latest Reading player to have a pop at goal after the ball is played over the top to him, but Michael Hefele edges out the forward and because of that pressure Grabban's strike is wide of the mark.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

Reading are finally getting into this game, and Yann Kermorgant turns a Joey van den Berg corner well over the bar.

He did well to get any sort of connection on a delivery that appeared to be out of his reach.

  17. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

Elias Kachunga nearly sets in his Huddersfield team-mate Tommy Smith, but the weight of the pass is too strong for the right-back.

Kachunga turned Tyler Blackett inside out there and had the ball got to Smith, Huddersfield had a very dangerous situation.

Joey van den Berg looks like he could have a torrid time this second half trying to keep pace with both Nahki Wells and Elias Kachunga.

The Dutchman has been somewhat of a cult figure for Reading so far this season with his no-nonsense approach.

His decision-making is bound to be severely tested as this game goes on.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

Joey van den Berg may be on a yellow card, but the Reading defender has just made a superb tackle to stop Nahki Wells from getting a shot off in the Royals area.

It's been an open start to the second period.

  20. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

First real opening for Reading and the ball is played neatly through an onrushing John Swift, who fires right at keeper Danny Ward.

    Nice football though.
