Vespertillio: Wales have got to get tighter and stop those crosses coming in from the Serbian right

Andrew Pollard: Never, ever a penalty there really, but I'll most certainly take it! Come on, Wales!

More good defending from Ben Davies to cut out a very dangerous low cross...

It all got quite heated after Ramsey's goal, with riot police stepping in to stop what appeared to be the Serbian fans rushing towards their Welsh counterparts.

A Wales flag seemed to be stolen in the melee, only for it to be returned by a charitable Serbian supporter. How cordial.

    Serbia 0-1 Wales

Chris Coleman spoke beforehand of the need to be 'streetwise' and they are seeing this game out to half time very smartly indeed. Taking their time over every restart.

Free-kick for the hosts. Aleksandar Kolarov lines it up and slams a shot into the wall, the home side want a penalty for hands and Sam Vokes needs treatment, which suggests the ball hit him in the face.

Wales get the game up and running again anyway.

To go for a Panenka penalty in a Sunday league game is cheeky. To do it in Belgrade in such a hostile atmosphere is simply outrageous.

Aaron Ramsey, how very dare you.

Branislav Ivanovic delivers a brilliant ball from the right and Aleksandar Mitrovic heads wide again. He is winning everything but not finding the target.

Two or three huge bangs ring out inside the stadium. Firecracker central.

Brilliant from Aaron Ramsey. What nerve he has to dink it into the roof of the net. What a time to score for Wales

Serbia were getting on top but that's a massive goal for Wales, and it all came from Aaron Ramsey chasing a long cause into the corner. He got a foul from the keeper and then came the penalty.

    Panenka!

That is a brilliant penalty as Aaron Ramsey chips the ball slow as you like, into the corner. That takes some stones!

    Given!

You have to say that is soft but Wales have a spot-kick for a shirt tug on Sam Vokes...

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 33 mins

    Serbia 0-0 Wales

Comedy goalkeeping! Vladimir Stojkovic tries to shepherd a ball out of play, it was never going out and Aaron Ramsey gets there and toes it round him. Stojkovic can only foul the Arsenal man, luckily for him a yard outside of the area.

It's a booking, and a free-kick right on the dead ball line about a yard outside the box.

  16. Mitrovic chance will teach Chesterpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 11 June 2017

    Serbia 0-0 Wales

    John Hartson
Ex-Celtic and Wales striker on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

That's a wonderful ball from Ivanovic. Played with pace and precision.

Mitrovic gets on the shoulder of Chester and beats him to the ball but couldn't get the angle right.

That will teach Chester to be a bit more wary of him next time.

Aleksandar Mitrovic heads wide again, that was a good chance. Looked like he closed his eyes on it and mistimed his jump.

Wales hanging on a bit - though keeper Wayne Hennessey hasn't had to make a save.

    Alistair Bruce-Ball

Our producer Juliette Ferrington has spotted something. There's firemen standing on the athletics track behind the goal. Flares were thrown earlier and about seven or eight of them, very old school looking, with the hard yellow hats, were deployed to put them out.

  19. CLOSE!published at 28 mins

    Serbia 0-0 Wales

Bit of a pattern emerging now. Excellent cross excellently defended by James Chester. The Wales defence are being worked but they know what they're doing.

Another cross is whipped to the far post and Aleksandar Mitrovic heads wide!

    Serbia pushing.

Dusan Tadic is the danger man for Serbia and he's been quiet so far - but he does get on the ball on the right and glides past Jazz Richards so easily. His cross is good too - but again James Chester nods it out.
