Well that was a thoroughly entertaining watch in the end! Hull City give it a real good go but in the end Paul Pogba's toe-poke proved crucial.

Jose Mourinho will have the chance to win his first trophy at Old Trafford next month.

United can break, Zlatan does well to just kill some time and find Paul Pogba on the wing. Pogba beats his man and then wins a corner. No rush...

Jose Mourinho sat down for a bit, got back up, took a drink, walked around.

This semi-final has become far more stressful than he expected.

Harry Maguire runs it out from defence, a great break again but he gets a nosebleed and tries a shot from all of 30 yards instead of laying it off. He had men over.

Is it safe to say that at the beginning of the game we did not see ourselves sitting in this position, with Hull pushing for a goal to take us to extra time?

So a Hull goal gives us extra time, but they would need another one in extra time or United would win on away goals. Which only count after extra time.

The wildcard Oumar Niasse gets away from his man on the right but then blazes a cross wildly over the top. He could score goals in the stretch for Hull though. An absolute handful.

Marcos Rojo is booked. Hull free-kick, last three minutes. Get them all up! One goal and we have extra time.

That is what Niasse has given us from the left-hand side.

That is absolutely amazing. He is one of these guys - something happens around him, he will get the bounce of the ball, he will give away free-kicks. Things happen.

GOAL - Hull 2-1 Manchester United (Agg: 2-3)published at 85 mins

    Oumar Niasse

A goal Everton fans may have thought they would not live to see, Oumar Niasse bags! He starts the move on the left, bulldozing through Marcos Rojo and the ball is then swung over to the right. David Meyler comes in off the line and cushions the ball across goal with a great volley, and Niasse followed in to bury from close range.

One more would force extra time.

Marcus Rashford beats his man every time, he starts another attack and when Ander Herrera picks out Paul Pogba, his low cross/shot is pushed clear by David Marshall.

  16. Postpublished at 80 mins

Hull 1-1 Manchester United (Agg: 1-3)

Marcus Rashford is great to watch, he really is. Electric pace sees him burn past two defenders on the right wing when he had no right to, he cuts into the middle but eventually overruns the ball and Hull clear their lines.

Niasse is really unlucky, he really is. It's a brilliant header onto the bar, De Gea had no chance. That would have made for a brilliant last 15 minutes.

He held Jones off well, he's obviously a physical player.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 79 mins

Wayne Rooney is on for Jesse Lingard as Hull force another corner. They are having a real go.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 78 mins

Hull 1-1 Manchester United (Agg: 1-3)

Unlucky! Oumar Niasse shrugs off Phil Jones to meet the corner and thumps it against the crossbar, David de Gea didn't move!

That would have made life interesting.

Still no changes for Jose Mourinho as we tick into the final 15 minutes. Marcus Rashford fancies a goal tonight but he's well challenged by Harry Maguire.

Abel Hernandez then has a sight of goal for Hull but slices a shot wide. Via a deflection.
