    Swansea 0-0 Southampton

All Southampton at Swansea so far. They haven't created anything telling other than Shane Long's strike from a tight angle.

Both sides seem to be operating with a 4-3-3, with the two wide strikers coming back to make a five-man midfield when their side doesn't have the ball. So far, it's Swansea's wide men having to do more of the backtracking.

    Liverpool v Chelsea (20:00 GMT)

Almost show-time at Anfield. Jordan Henderson and Gary Cahill lead the two sides out to a cacophony of cheers. Even the miserable weather can't dampen this atmosphere.

It's a chilly night in Dorset, with driving rain sweeping in from the southern end of the ground (for those with local knowledge, it's heading from the Ted MacDougall Stand towards the Steve Fletcher Stand) - so the wind is firmly behind Palace for the first half.

Definitely a night for woolly hats in the crowd - Cherries striker Benik Afobe even sported one during the warm-up.

    Sunderland 0-0 Tottenham

Half chances at either end. Harry Kane tries to pick out Son Heung-min with a cross from the right, leaving boss Mauricio Pochettino wondering how he failed to get the ball over. Sunderland break quickly up the other end, Jermain Defoe (who else?) wriggling clear before shooting wide.

    Younes Kaboul (10 mins)

Well isn't this a turn up for the books?

Arsenal are behind inside the first 10 minutes and it is former Tottenham man Younes Kaboul who gets the goal. The Gunners' set up to defend a free-kick is shocking and Kaboul takes his chance from a free-kick which deflects off Aaron Ramsey and into the net.

    Arsenal 0-0 Watford

Arsene Wenger will be a tad thankful for his touchline ban tonight because it is absolutely chucking it down at the Emirates. The Arsenal boss looks pretty snug in the stands as he watches his side dominating possession - to be expected - but there's been no chances yet.

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

Leicester have made a bright start on a miserable evening at Burnley as Demarai Gray chases a ball over the top, he has time and space to pick his spot but slips and scuffs his effort.

And who else? Former Boro man James Morrison slams in the opener, drilling in a loose ball from 20 yards after Boro fail to deal with a corner.

Boro are having bother scoring - now they're going to have to.

CLANG! Crystal Palace are aiming to end their winless run under Sam Allardyce and go close to making the ideal start at Bournemouth as Wilfried Zaha rattles an effort against the post.

Nothing happening at Boro. Oh, I tell a lie. A few fans are scampering a few rows back to avoid the Teeside rain.

    Swansea 0-0 Southampton

Saints striker Shane Long gets the first sight of goal at the Liberty Stadium, racing onto a Dusan Tadic pass he has a narrow angle to navigate and he slams high and wide.

Even a protractor wouldn't have seen off that angle.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is going through his usual ritual of watching not just his team warm-up, but also Chelsea from his vantage point in Anfield's centre circle.

Klopp is getting a soaking for his pains as he is forced to shelter under a waterproof hood on a rain-lashed night on Merseyside.

    Arsenal 0-0 Watford

You have to go back to 1988 for Watford's last win at Arsenal and, given that they are on a seven-game winless run in the Premier League, it's difficult to see them ending that long wait tonight.

The Hornets have started brightly, though, with on-loan striker M'Baye Niang aiming to make an instant impression with a teasing cross at the near post, but it's cleared.

In the true spirit of transfer deadline day, what are the chances of four bore-draws and a few underwhelming narrow wins?

Little action in the opening couple of minutes - anywhere.

It's been a LONG time since a team last prevented Arsenal from scoring, over three months to be exact. Middlesbrough held the Gunners to a goalless draw on 22 October.

    Liverpool v Chelsea (20:00 GMT)

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp tells the television cameras that forward Sadio Mane is likely to feature at some point against Chelsea. Senegal forward Mane has been named on the bench after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

"He is ready. He told me 'I am ready boss'. We will probably see him tonight," adds Klopp.

Klopp on what is required to beat Chelsea: "We need to annoy them, be a little bit brave, play with a big heart, be angry, have fun."

Absolutely belting it down at Anfield. The sort of rain that could wash away small children. Jurgen Klopp, grey plastic hood wrapped tightly over his head, is soaking it up - literally - as he keeps a beady eye on his players while they warm up.
