    Sunderland 0-0 Tottenham

Suspicion of a handball? Possibly. Fabio Borini motors into space on the edge of the Spurs box, the ball seeming to hit Kyle Walker's outstretched arm, before the ball falls back into the Sunderland's striker's hand. He drills low at Spurs keeper Michel Vorm.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Arsenal 0-2 Watford

Nacho Monreal goes flying to floor in the box after dinking his way past Craig Cathcart. Penalty? The home fans want one, the referee isn't impressed and books Monreal for diving.

I was here at Anfield before the Manchester United match, and I think it's even louder tonight, which just shows you how important this match is to the club.

    Middlesbrough 1-1 West Brom

If you thought Adama Traore was the sort of winger who didn't track back, think again. The Boro flyer uses his considerable pace to fly back and halt a swift Albion counter, blocking Salomon Rondon's low effort.

  5. Postpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Arsenal 0-2 Watford

Arsene Wenger's expression gives nothing away as to what he is thinking after watching a truly dreadful start by his side. Mistakes at the back, no bite in attack.

Should Theo Walcott - who got a hat-trick at the weekend - have started? If things continue as they are, I bet it won't be long before he is on...

  6. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Cagey start at Anfield. Liverpool enjoying plenty of possession, doing nothing with it though. Still belting it down with rain.

  7. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

Ashley Barnes and Andre Gray are giving the Leicester defence the jitters with their pace and movement, with the latter flashing an effort into the sidenetting.

  8. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Swansea 0-0 Southampton

Swansea whip a corner in and a flick on confuses Southampton defender Jack Stephens. He'd already began positioning his body for a clearance and the flick guided the ball flush onto his hand. It's ball to hand but as they say, we've seen them given.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Arsenal 0-2 Watford

It's not getting any better for Arsenal as they are forced into an early change. Aaron Ramsey has a calf problem and signals to the bench. On comes Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Scotty: Predictable from Arsenal. Negative team selection = negative results. Every week. Pick players by form not sentiment.

Andrew Priestley: Just Arsenal being Arsenal and doing Arsenally things!

  11. Postpublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Bournemouth 0-0 Crystal Palace

The visitors are up for this one. They look the most likely to score in the early stages as Christian Benteke gets onto Scott Dann's knockdown but scuffs wide.

  12. Postpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

No goals at Burnley but the hosts have had a couple of good chances courtesy of Ashley Barnes. The striker first smashes an effort into the sidenetting from a difficult angle before just failing to get enough power when he tried to prod an effort from a ball over the top at goal.

    Alvaro Negredo (17 mins)

Relief for Boro. Alvaro Negredo picks himself up, dusts off the grass on his right knee, then slams in the penalty. Low, hard, bottom corner. Textbook.

  14. PENALTY TO BOROpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Middlesbrough 0-1 West Brom

Gareth McAuley has probably not dared watch Match of the Day for a good few weeks. He's seems to be making a clanger every week. And here's another one. The Albion centre-back dives in when Boro striker Alvaro Negredo bursts into the box, taking out man and getting very little - if anything - on ball.

    Liverpool v Chelsea (20:00 GMT)

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger, BBC Radio 5 live at Anfield

I'm expecting a cagey performance from Liverpool tonight - if they play the way they usually do it will suit Chelsea's counter-attacking style perfectly.

All Spurs at the Stadium of Light. The visitors have had about 70% of the early possession, but are still yet to test Sunderland keeper Vito Mannone. Expect him to get his hands dirty sooner rather than later.

    Troy Deeney (13 mins)

What is going on with Arsenal!?

The Gunners are all over the place defensively and show no urgency to close down Etienne Capoue, who dances his way into the area before having a go at goal. His shot is denied by Petr Cech but the ball spills into the path of Troy Deeney who smashes home his side's second.

Well, well, well. A real shock on the cards at the Emirates.
