Ross in Hampton: I'm a lifelong Arsenal fan and I have to say the performance so far is no surpise at all, this current Arsenal team do not have the mentality to win the Premiership. And I will happily say that to Mr Wenger's face. 

I didn't think any clubs would do any transfer business while they were playing tonight, but Burnley have done just that. The Clarets have completed the signing of Robbie Brady from Norwich for a club-record fee.

The home side grew into that half and certainly threatened goal more than their visitors. They are on their way to first back-to-back league wins of the season.

Moment of concern for Chelsea as David Luiz goes down with a knock. John Terry is told to go and warm up as the Brazil centre-back gets a good soaking with the magic sponge. Chelsea briefly down to 10 men before Luiz jogs back on.

Brilliant free-kick from David Luiz but a moment of real embarrassment for Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet - who was not even ready as the ball landed in the net behind him.

Jurgen Klopp is frantic on the touchline and the game suddenly has a chaotic air. Liverpool had all the early possession but it's Chelsea with the lead.

Not much to tell you from that first half. Spurs had plenty of the ball but only had one shot at goal. Harry Kane has not a sniff.

Chelsea sticking their foot on the gas now. Simon Mignolet has to be alert to another Chelsea free-kick - and this time he is. The ball is swung in from close to the left touchline, David Luiz stretching out his right toes in a bid to turn in the ball. If only he was one boot size bigger...
