Re: Barkley celebration. I saw something very similar, when as a 12 year old on the school team, I celebrated by jumping and punching the air. Only to land awkwardly and turn my ankle before actually applying the finish. Never lived that one down for 4 years...

August 2011 - the month Sergio Aguero introduced himself to English football with a goal on his debut against Swansea City.

Fast forward five-and-a-half years and there are questions about whether his future lies with Manchester City.

Blues boss, Pep Guardiola, said in his press conference ahead of the game that there are plans for Jesus and Aguero to play together though - stating what an important player the Argentinian is for the club.

Man City v Swansea (13:030 GMT)

We'll be getting team news from the Etihad in just under half an hour, but here's what we know about who might play.

Ilkay Gundogan remains a long-term absentee but Fernandinho and Vincent Kompany will hope to earn recalls.

Swansea could name an unchanged starting line-up for a third successive game. Captain Leon Britton has returned to training following a calf problem and will be part of the travelling squad.

As an Evertonian, at Goodison yesterday, I was just thrilled to see Barkley score! As far as I'm concerned he could have done a cartwheel, a triple salchow, stopped to sign a programme AND paused for a selfie before sticking it in the net!! Thanks Ross for a magical moment!

Did you know that today is Yorkshire Pudding Day? No? Well it is and, appropriately, there's a massive Yorkshire derby taking place as Huddersfield host Leeds in the Championship.

What a great story it would be if Huddersfield got promoted to the Premier League, although as a Town fan, I suppose I would say that.

Fancy a nice heartwarming football tale?

Yeovil Town fans have to endure some tiring journeys, but this weekend's 670-mile round-trip to Hartlepool is one of the longer expeditions Glovers fans will face this season.

Supporters of the Somerset club at least saw their side pick up a point thanks to Matty Dolan's second-half penalty.

And the 97 hardy souls who made the trip to County Durham were rewarded by players and staff after the final whistle, with handshakes for each and every one of them.

    Lovely stuff.

It was not a classic, but Tottenham ground out a 1-0 win against Middlesbrough to stay nine points behind Chelsea.

"I think in the last few games the opponents have played very deep and closed the gaps, difficult to break down," said Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

"I don't think they had a shot on target which is also important. I think we showed we were much better and deserved the win.

"When you don't kill the game you leave it open. In the last second you can concede, that's the Premier League. Thankfully it didn't and we are happy."

Great to see Barkley back on form as he's adapted to the shackled freedom under Ronald Koeman who's added the missing discipline to Ross's superb footballing skills and eye for a killer pass. Nothing wrong with his celebration, good to see his confidence back.

Are Southampton going to rue not strengthening their defence in January?

They lost influential skipper Jose Fonte to West Ham and his absence from the Saints back line was telling as they lost 3-1 to West Ham yesterday.

After conceding just five goals in their first eight home Premier League games under Claude Puel, Saints have shipped nine in their last four.
