    The 26-year-old has agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Turf Moor – with the option of a further year. He made 162 appearances for Villa.

    “I’m delighted to be here. It’s happened fast but I’ve been made to feel very welcome and I can’t wait to get going," he told the Burnley official website., external

    A big day for Radcliffe Borough striker Raul Correia, who has achieved the dream of becoming a professional footballer after signing an 18-month contract with Blackpool.

    The 22-year-old has scored 11 goals in 22 games this season for the non-leaguers, who play in Evo-Stik Division One North.

    "I've always had the confidence I could play professionally," he told the Seasiders' website.

    Luton Town have signed goalkeeper Stuart Moore, 22, on loan from Reading until the end of the season.

    Also moving on loan for the rest of the campaign is the brilliantly named MK Dons forward Kabongo Tshimanga, 20, who is off to Yeovil.
