    New Leyton Orient manager Danny Webb has made his first signing since taking charge on Sunday - bringing in Stevenage striker Rowan Liburd on loan for the rest of the season.

    Liburd is Orient's first signing of the transfer window. Webb is their fourth manager of the campaign and their 10th since the summer of 2014.

    Meanwhile, Orient striker Ollie Palmer has left the club to join Luton Town on loan.

    You may not be familiar with Alfonso Pedraza but he comes to Leeds with a decent rep., external The 20-year-old helped Spain to victory in the European Under-19 Championship in Greece in 2015 and was capped by the Under-21 side for the first time in 2016.

    He had been on loan at Spanish Segunda Division side CD Lugo, where he scored six goals and provided eight assists.

    Leeds have an option in place to sign him permanently in the summer with talk of a fee of around £8.5m.

    League Two Crawley have signed Rhys Murphy on loan until the end of the season from National League Forest Green Rovers.

    He scored nine goals in 16 appearances on loan at Crawley from Oldham Athletic last season.

    More on Matt Taylor's move across Bristol., external The 26-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with City, with a further year’s option. 

    He has been Rovers’ top scorer for the past two seasons and has netted 19 times in all competitions this campaign.

    "I think we've got ourselves a natural goalscorer," City boss Lee Johnson told the club's official website. "It's been interesting to watch his progress. He's scored goals at every level he's played at and his next challenge is to do that in the Championship.

    "Having seen other goalscorers make that step up, Sam Winnall as an example, if you can put the ball in the right areas then they'll inevitably stick it in the net.

    "It'll be a big step up in standard for him, but he's been able to deal with every challenge that's been thrown at him so far in his career."

    Andrea Ranocchia has left Inter Milan to join Hull on loan, Glenn Murray has made his loan move from Bournemouth to Brighton permanent, Jordon Mutch has Reading until the end of the season from Palace.

    But do not fear, for there are reportedly bigger deals in the pipeline.

    Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce has made his sixth signing of the transfer window by snapping up highly rated defender Jacob Bedeau from Bury for a fee of around £900,000 with add-ons.

    The 17-year-old, who has made seven first-team appearances since November, is the fifth player from Bury's academy to join a Championship or Premier League club in recent seasons and will initially join Villa's development squad.

    Here's one out of left field. Scunthorpe have received interest from a Chinese club for Dutch forward Kevin van Veen. BBC Radio Humberside's Mike White, external has spoken to the League One club, who have confirmed the interest and the ballpark figure of around £4m. They also stated their unwillingness to sell.

    Due to time difference, Scunthorpe say they're not expecting anything further to develop until later tonight.

    One to keep an eye on.

    Versatile Bury player Tom Soares has joined AFC Wimbledon for an undisclosed fee after four and a half years at Gigg Lane. 

    Soares will be remembered by Shakers fans for scoring the goal at Tranmere which clinched automatic promotion to League One in 2015.

    As of 12:30pm today, with 10.5 hours of the January transfer window remaining, the Premier League can confirm that its clubs have made a profit on player transfers in this window of £31.2m.

    This is made up of:

    Total Spend: £174.6m

    Total Sales: £205.8m

    Net Spend: -£31.2m/or club profit on player sales: £31.2m

    This includes transfer fees committed this January by clubs. It does not include contingency fees (for example for appearances, goals, or other performance related payments).

    The previous record total spend in a January transfer window was £209m in 2011 – in that window the net spend, after player sales, was £77.3m.

    The Premier League will tomorrow afternoon provide a final update on the total spend, sales and the net position following the closure of the January 2017 transfer window.

    Watford full-back Juan Carlos Paredes has joined Greek club Olympiakos on loan for the rest of the season.

    The 29-year-old Ecuadorian had made just one appearance for the Hornets this season, in the EFL Cup.
