I just don't know how much more of a warning you need when Harry Kane is on the edge of the box with the ball. He is lethal on both feet. You need to close him down. They should know that by now.

Thank goodness for Lee Grant otherwise Stoke would have been on the end of a bigger hiding.

The Stoke keeper sticks out a strong hand to deny Harry Kane a fourth goal after the Spurs striker's tries to find the corner of the net with a curling effort.

TJ: Stoke could have at least turned up instead of giving spurs this win on a plate.

Lew: Why can't Spurs play like this against European teams? Or are mid table English teams just not that great?

Agubata Odinaka: Mark Hughes will surely be regretting that Dubai trip now. It wasn't a good idea after all

I really rate Harry Winks. He plays with such balance and quality.

In tight situations, he doesn't shy away from trying to get onto the ball and I really like that in a midfielder.

Lee Grant pulls off a superb save - even though it wouldn't have counted. The Stoke keeper makes a brilliant full stretch dive to deny Eric Dier who is flagged offside. Applause all around White Hart Lane for the keeper's efforts.

In a manager's mind, Mark Huges sometimes might want to leave players out there to suffer.

"It's your fault we are in this situation, you get us out of it".

Who do you turn to when you are 4-0 down? Saido Berahino?

Peter Crouch's miserable afternoon is over. Stoke make a double change - Crouch and Charlie Adam are off and Ibrahim Afellay and Berahino are on.

Harry Kane's appetite for goals knows no bounds. He's already bagged a hat-trick but he wants more and ends up colliding with a post while attempting to get on the end of a deep cross. Kane winces in pain but he's soon back on his feet and able to continue.

Stoke don't look like they know what they are doing. They are clumsily passing the ball at each other, hoping someone will do something with it. In doing so they are putting themselves in danger.

No need to ask about Mark Hughes' mood. Stoke's players appeared on the pitch five minutes before the start of the second half.

It's worth remembering Spurs have had three games since Stoke last played - and the Potters have been in Dubai for a spot of warm weather training.
