A total transformation in this Leicester side. They have out-played, out-fought and out-worked a Liverpool side who are hoping to finish in the top four.

From what I've seen you have to ask, were they playing for Ranieri?

They certainly looked like they were playing for Shakespeare tonight.

It's a huge ovation for the Leicester players, and you have to wonder what the reaction from the fans would have been had they served up another poor showing.

The support from the fans has been total all evening. From the outside it looks a united club.

Does that go some way to proving that the decision to oust Claudio Ranieri was the correct one?

It's hard to imagine that performance coming without the change, though of course we shall never know...

Leicester have been fantastic from start to finish tonight.

They have had an extra yard on Liverpool, they have been quicker to react, their recovery runs have been outstanding, they have had desire I haven't seen since last season and they are throwing themselves in front of shots from Liverpool.

The difference between this team performance and the performance I saw at Swansea is unbelievable.

'We are staying up!' sing the Leicester fans. Play like this and they may just reach the quarter finals of the Champions League too...

FIVE minutes added on as Leicester put Ben Chilwell on in place of the excellent Marc Albrighton. He's been mainly huff and puff, but his pass for the opening goal was outstanding.

Leicester heading up to 15th then...

You're almost there Leicester... The pressure from Liverpool has been relentless since half time but the Foxes have kept it at bay reasonably comfortably.

Lacklustre, that's how I'd describe Liverpool tonight. Plenty of possession but rarely any considered threat, as Philippe Coutinho goes close!

A well hit volley but Kasper Schmeichel makes a hash of it, spilling it just wide!

    Liverpool have been poor tonight.

Kasper Schmeichel has made a few comfortable saves - the kind of saves you would be embarrassed if he hadn't made, so nothing special to challenge him.

Other than that, they've been poor. They started the game like they were still on their 16 day break. It doesn't seem to have done them any favours.

Both managers are on the sidelines barking out instructions as Jamie Vardy has treatment for a bang to the head. He's OK though - as Liverpool send on teenage striker Ben Woodburn for Lucas.

That would have made life interesting - Lucas beats Wilfred Ndidi to a cross but plants his header firmly wide of goal.

Leicester now less than 10 minutes away from a win.

That piece of wing play - the best thing I've seen Riyad Mahrez do in months - is his last contribution to the night, he's off and Demarai Gray is on.

Gray has been linked with a move to Anfield in the papers.

Wilfred Ndidi has made more tackles than anyone else tonight. He has really protected the back four from the start.
