    West Ham 0-1 Chelsea

Antonio Conte punched the air, Eden Hazard raced away to slide on his knees. A fan tried to get to him but was blocked. Chelsea with a big goal, Tottenham fans sink into their seats at home.

That's 14 goals for club and country for Hazard this term.

That was a devastating counter-attack. West Ham were doing so well. Robert Snodgrass gave the ball away. Then it was all about speed and combination-play between Pedro and Hazard.

Pedro - his assists, the goals he scored - I think he's a key cog in this unbelievable team manager Antonio Conte has formed.

    Eden Hazard

A classic, classic counter attack. N'Golo Kante - who else - wins the ball and springs an attack. Eden Hazard takes over, dribbles over halfway, finds Pedro who returns the pass to send Hazard clear. His first touch takes the keeper out of the equation, leaving an empty net. Clinical, classy stuff.

Suddenly Chelsea sit in and soak up a bit of home possession. West Ham work the ball left, Aaron Cresswell floats a cross in and Andy Carroll is primed but Gary Cahill's positioning is spot on, headed clear. Good central-defensive play.

The ball spending more time in the Chelsea half, so far West Ham's tactics look spot on. Win the ball by staying compact and hit Andy Carroll nice and early. They're winning second balls well and the away side look a touch lethargic.

As 20 minutes ticks over, we are yet to have a shot on or off target, there's just been a single effort blocked. A lot of crosses into the Chelsea box, no threat at all at the other end.

    West Ham 0-0 Chelsea

West Ham win a succession of corners, the second of which is whipped in by Robert Snodgrass and for the second time, Thibaut Courtois has to be on it to claw the delivery clear. Andy Carroll's eyes had lit up but it was swiped off his head.

Snodgrass is having a great start, a lot of opportunities to be one versus one.

The home crowd up and roaring as Andy Carroll gets his head on a long ball, winning possession for the home side to build an attack. Robert Snodgrass looks like a go-to man for the Hammers, he gets a cross in which is cleared but another delivery from the Scot sees David Luiz boot clear with some panic.

Andy Carroll not overly busy thus far. He has as many cuts to his nose as he does touches.

When West Ham lose the ball, they pretty much have a 4-5-1 system, with only Andy Carroll left forward. He's not really grafting to press or hassle defenders but when the ball is played into the Chelsea midfield, there are home bodies around it to break things up. Mark Noble the latest to slide in, conceding a throw.

If you're just joining us, no inch given in the opening 10 minutes. Not a threat on either goal of note, a West Ham corner as frenetic as it's got.

West Ham happy to sit in and be compact without the ball, Chelsea doing little with it when they have it.

Gary Cahill has to be lively to chase Sofiane Feghouli into a wide area and when he slides, Feghouli steps on the back of his shirt, prompting a huge rip.

Cahill now sports what looks more like a cape. The back of his shirt is split in two.

Robert Snodgrass whips in a corner but Thibaut Courtois comes flying out to put two fists on it, top goalkeeping and the danger passes for Chelsea. Solid stuff from the league leaders.

It was a good cross from Sofiane Feghouli. You fancied Andy Carroll six yards from goal, but it was great defending by Victor Moses. Carroll just headed the back of Moses' head.

Claret from the nose of Andy Carroll. David Luiz, hands on hips, watching closely as the first aid takes place. Luiz looks like he's really interested, now there's a man who'd put his hand up to be the designated first-aider in your office.

West Ham show their first bit of adventure as Andy Carroll leaps for a ball in the area, only to see the ball flicked away by Victor Moses. The partially cleared ball is fizzed back in and the Hammers win a corner.
