What do you think Diego Costa is listening to as he steps off the bus?

Prodigy - 'Firestarter'? I think it's something angry.

That mark of 54% is a higher proportion of goals than any other player who has played more than 20 games in the league.

The big man has two in two games coming into this one. A nuisance, a pain in the neck and a goalscorer.

London Stadium is dotted with fans. The white seats gleaming, the pitch glorious under floodlights. Warm-ups are underway, energy aplenty as the players dart around, stretch, shoot and dance through cones.

I'll admit it, I put Pedro in my fantasy football team and then hauled him out of there after a game or two. I treated him badly, like a luxury player who needed more backing to deliver what he was capable of.

He's left my side and rubbed my face in it big time. He's now been directly involved in 10 goals in his last nine games in all competitions, scoring seven and setting up three.

He has 116 points in this season's Premier League fantasy football league, only Eden Hazard - on 152 - has more for the Blues.

Beware West Ham fans, he's on it at the moment, much to my frustration.

He replaces Michail Antonio, who is suspended.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte chooses Cesc Fabregas instead of Nemanja Matic in central midfield, as the Blues name the same XI that started in the 3-1 win over Swansea.

This of course, often a fixture where rivalry is deeply intense. Some though stay clear of such nonsense. I particularly like the way he rubs his chin.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic speaks about Andy Carroll's inclusion: "He is fit, he's been training individually and with us, we are expecting a lot from him."

Will you match Chelsea's formation: "We played against them here and beat them in the EFL Cup with three at the back. Maybe we will stick with what we want, we can change it in the game if needed."

Yes it's West Ham v Chelsea, yes this fixture gets feisty and yes, both sides boast front men who could likely run through a brick wall.

Both Andy Carroll and Diego Costa can reach personal landmarks tonight. The West Ham target man is one goal away from 50 in the Premier League, while Costa is two away.

If the latter bags, he'll be the fifth quickest player to reach that mark after Andrew Cole (65 games), Alan Shearer (66), Ruud van Nistelrooy (68) and Fernando Torres (72).

So, from the last entry you can see why I'm backing Manuel Lanzini to make an impact tonight.

But, here we go, I need your interaction on something.

Olympiakos sacked their manager today, they were seven points clear in Greece. Claudio Ranieri got the push last week. So, has football ever been so harsh? And what's the harshest footballing moment you can recall?

From River Plate to Al Jazira to West Ham, Manuel Lanzini has had a varied career by the age of 24 but it's safe to say he feels right at home in London.

This Argentine loves the cut and thrust of the big city, so much so that he's scored seven times in 11 London derbies compared to just four goals in 38 games against sides from outside the capital.

    Evening.

Right, I grant you I've gone big early on there, downplaying Chelsea's standing.

I'll probably regret that when they're 3-0 up by half-time. Still, for now, I'll nail my colours to the mast and say we've got a corker of a fixture on our hands.

There's been a big security briefing at London Stadium, police are not expecting any trouble, so let's focus on the pitch and all, as one, visualise goals. I want at least nine tonight, at least nine.

Jermaine Jenas says West Ham may struggle to get a kick tonight, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says Chelsea are "unstoppable".

Anyone would think their seven-point gap at the top of the table was nearer 70. As far as I can recall, they don't have Roy of the Rovers up front, Maradona isn't in midfield and even Victor Moses gets a game (sorry Victor).

Why all the talk of curtains in the title race? West Ham, under the lights, let's mix it up a bit and see what Chelsea are made of.
