    HT: Ross County 1-1 Motherwell

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Victoria Park

I'd love to be in that County dressing room right now and suspect manager Jim McIntyre will be furious at another defensive howler.

The hosts are right back in it now but can't continue to ship goals so cheaply.

Motherwell were confident for the most part and troubled their opponents enough to suggest they'll feel three points is far from out of the question.

  4. So long, Skippy?published at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    HT: Ross County 1-1 Motherwell

Scott McDonald on target for the visitors but could this be his last game? The striker admits he is tempted by an offer to return to his native Australia and we know Motherwell are in talks with out-of-favour Celtic forward Nadir Ciftci.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Hamilton 1-0 Inverness

Quite an eventful first half at New Douglas Park but the important bit is, Accies are ahead.

Alex D'Acol's headed opener could have been cancelled out when Inverness were awarded a spot-kick but Gary Woods came to the hosts' rescue by saving Greg Tansey's effort.

Hamilton have lost Ali Crawford to injury and they will miss his creativity in the second half.

A terrible blunder from Jay McEveley gave Scott McDonald a free run on goal to shoot Motherwell in front but the big defender made amends soon after to nod the home side level.

  11. McEveley off the hookpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

    Ross County 1-1 Motherwell

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Victoria Park

Jay McEveley will be one relieved man after getting his side back on level terms. His contribution for Motherwell's opener was disastrous but he got the vital touch on another well-worked set-piece.

This sums County up. They're so capable going forward but make silly mistakes at times that make it that much harder.

  12. St Mirren sign Adam Eckersleypublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017

The 31-year-old left back joins Jack Ross' side until the end of the season after leaving FC Edmonton.

Eckersley has previously had spells in Scotland with Hearts and Hibernian.

Eckersley told the St Mirren website: "I was waiting on an offer that felt right for me. I know how good a coach he [Jack Ross] is and I felt like I had a trusting relationship with him."

Manager Jack Ross said: "I worked with him when we were at Hearts and I know he'll be a good addition to the squad. He's experienced, he knows this league and we're delighted to have him in."

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2017
