I'm so happy with the way City are playing under Pep. They create acres of space giving them so many chances to score, but they've just not been clinical enough. Jesus looked deadly when he arrived so I'm looking forward to getting him back.

Who is the happier after today's results then?

Manchester United climb to fifth, Tottenham get some breathing space in second, but it's still Chelsea sitting pretty at the top.

Kevin Chadwick: Well that's the top 3 misses of the season done and dusted in one game

Yullaw: Looks like Man United & Arsenal are going to be 3rd & 4th while City & Liverpool will drop out of the Top4

Liz Tray: Can't believe some complaining! Power, pace, energy, chances, entertainment; not perfect quality but a great advert for the PL

    Liverpool

Liverpool goal scorer James Milner on Sky Sports: “Both teams went for it. I am sure it was good for the neutrals to watch. We are disappointed that when we have been up we have not got three points. A draw was fair in the end.

“They are such a good team. They’ve got runners everywhere, they’re all sharp. It is not the easiest of days coming here. We can’t be too disappointed with a point."

Asked about his first half-challenge on Raheem Sterling, Milner said: “It was 50-50. It is one of those where you have seen them given. Lucky for me it wasn’t.”

James Milner now holds the record for the most Premier League games scored in without losing (47 Games: W37 D10 L0).

Sergio Aguero has netted in each his five Premier League home games against Liverpool (five goals) for Man City.

City have failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last 13 games in all competitions against Liverpool, shipping 24 in the process.

Liverpool have now won more points in 10 games against the top six this season (20) than they have in 10 games against the bottom six (19).

This definitely feels like a loss... Can see Aguero returning to Spain this summer. He just isn't a Pep type of striker. Only woke up in the last 20 mins! Stones best defender today

JButler: Very poor quality game, terrible advert for the top end of English football. No wonder our teams are useless in Europe.

Peter Campbell: As frustrated as I am that Liverpool didn't win, a draw was fair in an extremely intense match.

What a game we have seen. It could have been 5-5.

    It has been brilliant.

Both teams showed attacking flair with pace, power and intensity.

Lallana and Aguero both should have won it. 1-1 - fair result.
