Edin Dzeko had a mixed afternoon last Sunday - scoring and missing a penalty as Roma beat Crotone in Serie A. He's having a very good night in Spain, though. 

The former Manchester City striker has grabbed his second goal of the night as Roma lead 3-0 at Villarreal. One foot in the last 16? Looks that way.

Florentin Pogba is off now, he picks up a bit of cramp and needs some treatment before hobbling off after a trademark secret handshake from his kid brother. Saint Etienne need to hunker down and make sure this ends 2-0.

CHANCE! Oh it's onto the roof of the net! Saint-Etienne craft a wonderful move from their own penalty area, out down the right wing and in to sub Ole Selnaes in the middle. I'm screaming for him to play it wide left but instead he clips a lovely little reverse pass into the run of Nolan Roux, his touch is great but as Sergio Romero arrives in his face he can only chip over the top.

Great play, and that would have changed the tie all ends up.

Athletic Bilbao's Aritz Aduriz just keeps on banging in the goals. Last Saturday, he marked his 36th birthday with a winner against Deportivo La Coruna in La Liga. Tonight he's on target again to give his side a 2-1 lead over Apoel - and that makes him the outright top scorer in this season's Europa League with seven goals.

Elsewhere, Serie A's joint top scorer Edin Dzeko has given Roma a 2-0 lead at Villarreal, and a William Soares own goal has put Besiktas 2-1 up away to Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

Saint-Etienne send on their number nine as Nolan Roux gets a run out up front. Vincent Pajot is then booked as we enter the last 25 minutes.

Superb stuff from Paul Pogba! Jordan Veretout gets touch tight to him as he receives the ball, Pogba pins him and rolls him, before curling a left-footed shot wide from 20-odd yards.

If fans of Tottenham, Manchester United or any other side still in the Europa League are wondering and hoping, this season's final will be held in Stockholm. It's the ground where Zlatan Ibrahimovic retired Ryan Shawcross and a very pleasant place for a weekend indeed.

Will an English team reach the final? A few more goals in the next half an hour would be welcome for Manchester United.
