Huddersfield may have some complaints about that spot-kick.

Newcastle are nine games unbeaten in the Championship, having won six of those to boost their hopes of an immediate return to the top flight.

The Magpies have the best away record in the division, with 12 victories from their 17 away trips this season.

Win today, and they'll be 11 points above Huddersfield with 11 games of the campaign remaining.

It's almost the business end of the season, and Rafael Benitez's side could have automatic promotion secured sooner rather than later if they keep up their recent form.

Huddersfield Town have been keeping the heat on the top two turned right up in recent weeks.

The Terriers won six league games on the bounce before seeing that run ended when they lost at Barnsley last weekend.

Brighton's defeat at Nottingham Forest today means Huddersfield are six points off the top two, and with two games in hand on the Seagulls.

Win today, and the Yorkshire side will be in touching distance of Albion.

However, Huddersfield will have to make do without influential boss David Wagner on the sidelines

The former USA international serves the second match of his two-game touchline ban against the Magpies.
