The two early-kick offs are done, with both favourites winning.

Aston Villa have beaten Birmingham 1-0 in Harry Redknapp's first game in charge of Blues - you can read more on that here.

And Celtic are through to the Scottish Cup final, remaining on course for the treble, after beating Rangers 2-0. Read the report on that one here.

Alex: Would love to see Rooney bag a couple of goals today, his best chance to shush the critics

Abhimanyu N: Hope Rooney plays wel and afterwards everyone doesn't cal him genius. Praise/Criticism is over the top when it comes to Rooney

Howard Meitiner: Do not forget Rooney is still only 31, is our record goal scorer and I predict a key player in our run

Speaking of injuries, the Manchester United players have the names of the two latest men put out of action - Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo - on the back of their shirts as they warm up.

Were Manchester City the first to do this for Ilkay Gundogan? Is it always going to be a thing?

Burnley v Manchester United (14:15 BST)

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho on MUTV: "We have injuries, more injuries and people who are really tired.

"The ones that played 90 intense minutes against Chelsea and two hours against Anderlecht, it is normal that two days later they are not in the best condition.

"We have to try and protect people and have some freshness."

Burnley v Manchester United (14:15 BST)

Because this match is being played in the glorious north, the weather is wonderful.

I've got a view on my TV that is high at one end of Turf Moor, looking down on a chequered green that is bathed in a sunny glow. In the distance, blue Lancashire sky shines on trees that a broken by houses and churches. Lovely stuff.

David Simpson:, externalThat Man Utd team gets more and more average. Welcome to being the new Liverpool.

Chris: Not surprised Rashford on the bench it takes a squad to compete on multiple fronts also can be an impact sub if needed

Michal Koziol: I have a feeling that Jose pulled out another tactical masterpiece today. Or so I hope.

Burnley v Manchester United (14:15 BST)

In a slightly confusing move, Burnley's official Twitter feed named Ashley Westwood on the bench twice. So good he needs two spots.

I'm looking forward to Joey Barton tangling with Marouane Fellaini. They might not need a ball for that one.

Mohamud Ali: Mourinho never ceases to amaze me. Why leave Rashford, the only hope for his tattered team.

Lewis Wilson: I want to say something about Mourinhos team selection but last time i did that, we battered Chelsea and i had to eat my words

Michael Reid: How can people be surprised rashford is being rested? 120min of intense football only 3 days ago? He's 19, needs a break!

Burnley make one enforced change from their defeat by Everton. Sam Vokes misses out with a hamstring problem, so Andre Gray starts up front alongside Ashley Barnes.

Just the eight changes for Man United from their Europa League victory over Anderlecht on Thursday.

Only Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard keep their places.

David de Gea returns in goal, while Wayne Rooney makes his second start of the year.

Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Michael Carrick, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Sergio Ramero drop to the bench, and Antonio Valencia drops out of the squad completely.

Tatenda Chakaduka: Mourinho made the right decision, Rashford needs to be rested for the Europa League plus Rooney & Martial have points to prove

Jonas Nisse: Man Utd resting their top attacking players against one of the best defences in the league. Jose has gone mad.

Kapalu Mutenda: Rooney up top? So guess it's a strikerless formation

I think the popular way of describing today's radio offering is as 'a choice of listening'.

BBC Radio 5 live sports extra is the place to tune your ears for all of the Premier League action. Burnley v Manchester United kicks things off at 14:00 BST, with Liverpool v Crystal Palace from 16:15. You can listen to both of those matches at the top of this page.

5 live will focus on the FA Cup from 15:00. Commentary of Arsenal v Manchester City - courtesy of John Murray and Jermaine Jenas - comes from Wembley.

How would listening to two games at the same time sound? Let me know.

DP: Not surprised Rashford/Mkhi on the bench after the extra-time exertion. Time for Martial to step-up & Rooney to show his class

Johnny Magrinho: Rashford not starting is an absolute joke. Martial? Where has he been all season? Rashford in his prime - more than fit enough

Benjamin Lappin: No surprise. United have packed run in and everyone needs to contribute and have their rest. Rashford needs rest.

I'm trying to remember the last time that I saw Wayne Rooney play football. He skippers United today, but may well have to reintroduce himself to team-mates that he hasn't seen for a while.

The same goes for Anthony Martial - he hasn't started a Premier League game since 1 April.

As expected, Daley Blind comes in to partner Eric Bailly in central defence. Jose Mourinho had few other options, bar asking Gary Pallister if he fancied a game. Young defender Axel Tuanzebe is on the bench.

    Breaking

Burnley v Manchester United (14:15 BST)

What's a bigger surprise here? No Marcus Rashford? The fact that Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial both start.

Rahsford is on the bench, while Rooney starts for the first time since 4 March. Only three players remain from the Europa League win over Anderlecht on Thursday.

    Full teams to come...
