Chelsea having a shot (it was rubbish from Diego Costa and nearly hits the corner flag)

Jose Mourinho cracking a smile after some 'bantz' with fourth official Andre Marriner.

Two minutes of stoppage time.

Chelsea have not gone this long in any other Premier League match this season without having a dig at goal.

Oh dear. Chelsea's half in a nutshell. Cesar Azpilicueta finds himself in space in a promising position on the right flank, only to lose his footing and shank the ball out of play. The home fans enjoy that one...

Phew! Gary Cahill, a man known for scoring the odd spectacular goal, breathes a sigh of relief. The Chelsea skippers sticks his noggin in the way of Marcus Rashford's cross, happy to see the ball loop onto the roof of his net and not into it.

Diego Costa cannot make the ball stick. Another Blues ball goes long, again it bounces back to a United player.

This is one of those games where you daren't take your eyes off it, even though there has not been loads of great chances.

One shot on target, one goal. Chelsea yet to muster a single effort at the United goal.

Chelsea just starting to edge their way into this but Manchester United have got it spot on so far, with Ander Herrera keeping Eden Hazard quiet and Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard stretching the visitors at the back.

And all the time we have an increasingly frustrated old Diego. Diego Costa feels he's getting a very raw deal from referee Bobby Madley and his battle with Marco Rojo and Eric Bailly is a very intereresting sub-plot.

There was definitely flailing arms. It is an interesting one. As Costa comes down he falls on to Rojo, who goes to grab him round the neck and stops. It is probably a talking to for both players. Both stopped just before they overstepped the mark.

Diego Costa and Marcos Rojo could both forge a career in WWE when they hang up their boots. They know how to make a meal about very little contact.

The pair clash in the United area, have a little dig at each other, then roll around trying to con Bobby Madley. He's wise to it, just giving a free-kick to United and nothing else. Good work.

Cheaper than a backless suit. Waste of a free-kick by Chelsea as someone in a blue shirt gives away a foul in the packed penalty box and Bobby Madley blows up in United's favour.

"Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea!" The away fans find their voice as the Blues win a free-kick on the right flank. Up go the big lads from the back...

Congratulations if you picked out Diego Costa in the sweepstake for the game's first yellow card. The combustible Chelsea striker clatters Paul Pogba with a frustrated swipe in the United half, forcing ref Bobby Madley to pull out his notebook for the first time today.

The sun is out at Old Trafford. Quite apt as United have been very bright in the opening half an hour. More space for the home side to exploit, a pullback from the right finding Ashley Young. However, he drags his shot wide of the left post from a central position.

Diego Costa is starting to simmer. He gives the linesman a real rocket after claiming he was fouled in the United half. Not for me.

Chelsea have offered nothing going forward yet. Not one single effort at the home goal. Ander Herrera might have to empty his pocket so we can see Eden Hazard.

Quality. Paul Pogba ends that Chelsea counter with a perfectly-timed tackle, allowing United to spring forward again. And then Asmir Begovic palms clear Marcus Rashford's cross from the left.

A quarter of the way in and United are well worth their slender lead.
