Jose Mourinho and Manchester United have got Chelsea right where they want them now - two goals down and having to chase.

Mourinho's tactics have been absolutely right on the money today and Chelsea have simply not been able to respond. Still time of course - but this has been a very limp effort so far from the Premier League leaders. 

Old Trafford is bouncing more than the Hacienda (when it was still open).

United kept the pressure up and when the ball came out to Herrera he struck a shot that deflects up off Zouma and past Begovic. It is all going right for Jose Mourinho.

Ouch! Chelsea skipper Gary Cahill goes into Marouane Fellaini's right thigh with a studs-up challenge as they contest a loose ball. The home players react furiously, demanding Cahill sees yellow. Bobby Madley agrees.

No change of personnel from Chelsea. But there has been a tactical tweak - on Antonio Conte's bonce at least.  Cap off, mop top out.

An ear-splitting roar from the Stretford End as the home side re-emerge shortly after the away side. Chelsea presumably got an ear-bashing from Antonio Conte and sent out on their way.

Game on.

Chelsea fans, do you want some hope to hang on to? This stat won't help, I'm afraid...

The Blues have lost four of the five Premier League games they've been losing at half-time this season.

Although... the game which they did fight back to win was in Manchester. They won 3-1 against City in December.

Manchester United deserve their lead. Says who? Says the stats.

The home side have enjoyed almost 60% possession and spent over a third of the first half in the Chelsea third.

United have scored with their only shot on target from four attempts, while the Blues only registered one effort at the home goal. And that was rubbish from Diego Costa.

Mourinho has got his tactics spot on. He has done what he does. United have done a job. Chelsea have been poor. There has been no fluidity and they have not tested De Gea.

Rashford got it right with a decent finish. Lot of conjecture about the handball from Ander Herrrera in the build-up. I think it was.

So far so good for Manchester United (and Spurs).

United fancy another before the break. Unfortunately it is Ashley Young who has a pop. Fred stood up in Row L is the man who has to move his feet, not Asmir Begovic.
