John Terry's goalscoring record is very good anyway. What a moment for him. If this is the farewell tour, he's not thinking what a lovely send-off. He might be thinking I could get on the bench for the FA Cup final against Arsenal and have a chance to lift the trophy.

GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Watfordpublished at 21 mins

    John Terry

    Leader. Legend. Goal.

Fairytale stuff at the Bridge as John Terry marks his first league start since September by putting the champions ahead.

It wasn't pretty - Terry's scuffed shot from close range dropping over the line after a corner - but the party is well and truly under way.

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Lots of creativity from Chelsea's fringe men but nothing to report in either penalty area. As for Watford, they've already hit double figures in terms of free-kicks conceded.

  4. Yellow perilpublished at 16 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Jose Holebas' yellow card (see 5 mins) means he joins an illustrious list of Premier League hard men in having accrued a record 14 bookings in a single season.

You probably won't be surprised to see some, if not all, of the other names alongside the Watford man...

    Mark Hughes (1998-99)

    Oliver Dacourt (1998-99)

    Robbie Savage (2001-02)

    Cheick Tiote (2010-11)

    Lee Cattermole (2014-15)

And Holebas still has another game to take the outright lead...

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

If Chelsea win their final two fixtures they will become the first club to record 30 English top-flight victories in a 38-game season.

Just one blocked shot from the champions so far. Mind you that's one more than Watford have mustered.

Antonio Conte still wants a performance from his side. He will be having a close look at the players coming in today because of his near-perfect standards.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 11 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

No shots on target but a string of ugly challenges by the men in white.

Nordin Amrabat is booked for a bone cruncher on Kenedy.

Two Watford players cautioned in the opening exchanges. Have they not heard this is supposed to be a party?

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Watford appear to have come to rough up the champions. After Jose Holebas' early booking, Valon Behrami goes in hard on Eden Hazard.

Lee Mason opts to keep his cards in his pocket on this occasion.

Boris: Your first home game since winning the league and a chance for the home fans to show their appreciation for those who won it. So why make nine changes to include those who contributed some, a little or nothing at all?

Robinson Jonathan: Hazard, Kante and Azpilicueta all starting to boost their chances of scooping the player of the season award.

A burst of applause breaks out as John Terry gets a touch. This has a touch of a testimonial feel about it.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 5 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Jose Holebas has been collecting yellow cards like Antonio Conte collects trophies.

The Watford defender is booked with just four minutes on the clock for trying - and failing - to haul down Willian in full flight.

That's his 14th caution of the season. That's an awful lot of club fines.

The party is in full swing. One minute into the game and every Chelsea is on their feet applauding the team. Antonio Conte responds by clapping the fans.

  13. 'Blues players will want FA Cup squad spot'published at 20:01 British Summer Time 15 May 2017

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

It has been [a buoyant mood around Chelsea] since they won the league. The team who got the guard of honour might not have been the players who won the league - but every single player out on the field will be thinking 'I want to be at least on the bench in the FA Cup final.'

  14. Watford salute the championspublished at 20:01 British Summer Time 15 May 2017

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Stamford Bridge

Watford's players and tonight's officials form a guard of honour for the newly-crowned Premier League champions Chelsea as they come out of the tunnel.

And a big cheer for someone who has been a Stamford Bridge misfit for much of this season Michy Batshuayi, who scored the title-winning goal at West Bromwich Albion.

  15. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Chelsea 0-0 Watford

Even the 'Tinkerman' didn't tinker this much.

Chelsea have made nine changes to their starting line-up for the first time in the Premier League.

Will it be another win for the champions? Their penultimate league match is under way.

Class from Watford. They form a guard of honour as the champions walk out to a standing ovation. There's hundreds of blue scarves on show with the word champions on them.

Phil Neville won't like this. Diego Costa has just stopped to shake hands with almost every Watford player. It's just like a christening!

  18. Postpublished at 19:54 British Summer Time 15 May 2017

Watford's players are made to wait in the tunnel. No sign of Chelsea's fringe players yet. The Hornets are looking resplendent in their all white strip while Heurelho Gomes is barking some last minute instructions to his team-mates.

  19. Postpublished at 19:51 British Summer Time 15 May 2017

This is your 10-minute warning. There's loads of activity in the tunnel. It's like the M25 at rush hour. Kick-off is fast approaching.

What next for Conte's 'wonderful winning machine'?

Antonio Conte is enjoying a spectacular first season as Chelsea manager, but can he follow it up by bringing sustained success to Stamford Bridge?

The 47-year-old Italian says this is only the start for his Blues team, but where do they go from here and how will he do it?

Former Chelsea players Ruud Gullit, Pat Nevin, Chris Sutton, Graeme le Saux and Mark Schwarzer tell BBC Sport what they think could happen next.
