Graham Hansen has been brilliant so far. She's a nuisance for the hosts' back line.

Norway are just settling down a little bit and trying to keep the ball, after a spell of Dutch pressure.

Arsenal's Danielle van de Donk jumps to head towards goal from seemingly a long, long way out, but her bouncing header causes Norway keeper Ingrid Hjelmseth problems.

She gathers it at the second attempt. But it's all the Oranje at the moment.

A few reminders early on of how the women's game doesn't do fake. Robust challenges aplenty, a few sly digs here and there, and a proper reducer from Ada Hegerberg. But no fuss or reaction from either side as they carry on regardless.

Now Gunners forward Vivianne Miedema skips past two Norway defender as she picks up a loose ball and races towards goal... But her right-footed shot is just dragged a little bit wide of the near post.

The Dutch are having a good spell.

There's some head tennis in the penalty area but Norway eventually nod it behind for another Netherlands corner.

The next delivery is blocked clear and a right-wing cross comes back in towards Vivianne Miedema, but the new Arsenal Ladies striker heads over the bar from 10 yards.

Norway have reached two of the past three finals of the Euros and have a great history in the competition.

Speaking prior to the tournament, Birmingham City Ladies and Norway midfielder Andrine Hegerberg - who is on the bench tonight - told BBC World Service:

"There have always been tight games between the Netherlands and Norway.

"We need to be aware that there will be a lot of orange shirts cheering for the Netherlands. But the fact that it is sold out is only a motivation for the squad and a really positive thing.

"We have a great history in this tournament but we are more focused on wanting to make our own, new history. We have a lot of potential."

It is end-to-end stuff, we have not seen too much possession from either team.

Because it is the opening game, there is lots of hype and the adrenaline going through the body. It is exciting to watch but might settle down soon.

Both these teams look significantly more confident going forward than they do at the back.

At the risk of cursing us all into witnessing a 0-0 borefest, I'm confident in saying we're going to see a few goals this afternoon.

There are world-class forwards at both ends of the pitch, and they're all looking sharp and up for this opening game.

Norway have their best chance so far but nimble forward Caroline Graham Hansen is denied from six yards by Arsenal stopper Sari van Veenendaal, after a neat touch from the Norwegian player. That's a brave stop. She got down low, and made herself look big.

Armed with flags left on every seat and with Dutch Euro-pop still ringing in their ears from that short-and-sweet opening ceremony, the Netherlands fans are making a right racket every time Shanice van den Sanden tears down the right flank.

Likewise, the nervousness in the Dutch defence is making the home crowd anxious. It's been a raucous start inside the stadium, which looks close to full in the paid sections.

The hosts go inches away again and it's another decent save from Norway keeper Ingrid Hjelmseth to deny them.

This time Dutch forward Lieke Merkens fires in from range but the keeper tips it just over the bar. The Oranje are on top.

Norway launch a dangerous free-kick from the centre circle into the box, but Arsenal keeper Sari van Veenendaal jumps well to claim the high ball.

It remains goalless in Utrecht but it's been a lively start.
