That's just about it for tonight then, as Scotland bow out of Euro 2017 after a battling and historic win over Spain, while England march on to the last eight as group winners.

There are plenty of positives despite elimination for the Scots, while Mark Sampson's Lionesses now have a couple of days to prepare for a huge, huge game.

England v France, in the quarter-finals of Women's Euro 2017, is on Sunday at 19:45 BST.

England striker Toni Duggan: "We're feeling very confident.

"I'm sure France won't be looking forward to the game.

"We're ready. If there's any time to beat France, it'll be now."

England boss Mark Sampson: "We have three wins under our belt - France have one win under their belt.

"We feel confident for these high-pressure games.

"We've got a two-day turnaround, but we'll be ready for France."

England's Nikita Parris - after her first goal at a major tournament - tells Channel 4:

"I'm so happy we came out in the second half and got the goal. We've got so much momentum.

"It was a great team effort. We can't wait to go into the France game now.

"I think France will be more scared of us than we are of them!"

England boss Mark Sampson: "We're really pleased with that result.

"A lot of teams found it difficult to escape their group.

"But building momentum is what we wanted. I'm proud of the team tonight, against an excellent Portugal team.

"Played three, scored 10... I can't really ask for more than that for the team."

Barry McBoyle: Despite the results, I am proud of our wee lassies. St. Andrew salutes you.

One of the pre-tournament favourites, France are ranked third in the world.

They've not lost to the Lionesses since 1974.

But they'll be without their captain, Lyon centre-back Wendie Renard, on Sunday through suspension.

England's Toni Duggan tells Channel 4:

"We know how good France are. But at a European Championships, you know in the latter rounds you're going to face tough teams.

"But in the form we're in, I don't think France would want to play us."

Now that all the groups are fully complete, we can confirm the line-up for the last eight.

In the past few minutes, Uefa have confirmed the kick-off times for quarter-finals three and four, so here goes:

QF 1: Netherlands v Sweden, Saturday, 17:00 BST im Doetinchem

QF 2: Germany v Denmark, Saturday, 19:45 BST in Rotterdam.

QF 3: Austria v Spain, Sunday 17:00 BST in Tilburg.

QF 4: England v France, Sunday 19:45 BST in Deventer.

Scotland manager Anna Signeul: "It was fantastic how we fought. They are such small margins. We could have put it away also, we had some great chances.

"It has been so long that we wanted to get to this tournament that today we had everything to win and nothing to lose. I am so proud of them, because today we showed what we are about.

"These players are fantastic.The fans and coaches, the board, everyone here has been so supportive. We are taking it from a low level and we've built something so strong.

"It has united Scotland for girls and women's football. I'm very proud of what we've done. But it is a good time now [to leave as manager]. Now they will qualify for the World Cup, I am sure about that."

England's mentality, with that determination to grind out a result, reminds me of the Germany of old. They've got that mind-set.

Scotland goalkeeper Gemma Fay: "We said that there was more to come from us, when a lot of people had written us off. There were two people at our press conference yesterday, nobody gave us a chance.

"But you should never write off this badge. We fought. We could have had more than one tonight and we were inches off that one we needed. But I am so proud of the girls, of this team, I'm so proud to be Scottish.

"We've got a great bunch here. This team can only get better. If we do the right things at grassroots level, strive to have that professional set-up, things can be great."

England goalscorer Toni Duggan tells Channel 4:

"Portugal threw everything they could at it.

"We made some adjustments tactically at half-time and it was great to regroup."

It was painful to watch. Scotland rode their luck for a lot of the match. Spain have hit the bar and missed a couple of really gilt-edged chances. But in saying that we missed a massive chance ourselves through Leanne Crichton who was only three yards out with what looked like a tap-in. It was a brilliant match, the girls have really done themselves justice tonight.

Mark Sampson has kept his first XI fit and fresh for Sunday, while getting another win.

England's passing completion rate tonight though, at around 74%, is not good enough. They'll have to be better than this.

That was such a fantastic game. Scotland. Heroic in their effort, tragic in their fate.

Scotland manager Anna Signeul is out there consoling her players. So this was, after all, the final match of her 12 years in charge.

They got the job done. You could tell they hadn't played together for a number of weeks, because they were a little bit too rusty.

But in the second half it was a much more assured, slick performance.

England weren't at their best tonight, but it's job done. They maintain their 100% record and win the group.
