    HT: Portugal 1-1 England

It's interesting watching the England players walk off at half-time and seeing them being tutored by those watching on the sidelines.

Lucy Bronze has some words of wisdom for left-back Alex Greenwood, while Casey Stoney has plenty to tell fellow centre-back Laura Bassett.

Imagine there might be a few words said in the dressing room.

  2. As it standspublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 27 July 2017

HT: Portugal 1-1 England; Scotland 1-0 Spain

So, Scotland have a fighting chance, against all the odds.

But the Scots need England to win, or they're out, no matter how well they do themselves against Spain.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 27 July 2017

    Portugal 1-1 England

No stoppage time in Tilburg despite two goals. The players go off for a breather.

England have plenty to think about. But they're still going through as group winners as it stands.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 27 July 2017

    Scotland 1-0 Spain

Amazing. Scotland are potentially one goal from reaching the knockout stages.

They need to beat Spain by two, and for England to beat Portugal.

Plenty of England flags over the far side of the stadium, from Southampton to Harrogate, but it's the Portugal supporters who are making the more noise, despite being fewer in numbers, with their team playing the better football.

    Scotland 1-0 Spain

Shows you how much possession counts for...

This is a sensational scoreline, totally against the form book, totally against the run of play.

    Can Scotland hang on?

Portugal 1-1 England; Scotland 1-0 Spain

That Scotland goal means that, as it stands, Portugal are going through.

That gets a thumbs up on the Portugal bench.

GOAL - Scotland 1-0 Spainpublished at 41 mins

    Caroline Weir

From near-calamity at one end, to total, absolute disaster at the other.

Scotland lead! The ball creeps over the line, through a defender's desperate legs, in comical fashion.

After goalkeeper Sandra Panos commits and totally fails in an attempt to rush out and clear on the edge of the box, the ball falls to Caroline Weir, who puts her side ahead with their first shot on target.

    My word!

    Scotland 0-0 Spain

From the free-kick, Marta Torrejon almost finds the top corner with a little flicked effort that just drags wide of the post.

Has Gemma Fay's heart stopped racing?

    Scotland 0-0 Spain

Uh oh. A moment of madness for Gemma Fay. She is so lucky to still be on the pitch.

She comes flying out of her box to clear a long ball over the top destined for Alexia Putellas, and clearly uses her hands - Diego Maradona style, only much more blatant - to divert the ball to safety.

YELLOW card. Should have been red.

    Portugal 1-1 England

Just to reiterate, as it stands, England would be going through as Group D winners.

Scotland would be going out, and Spain would be edging Portugal out based on their head-to-head record.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 37 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Spain

Gemma Fay. From near villain to absolute hero.

First she totally loses track of a blocked shot that loops over her head and almost into the net.

But then from the two resulting corners she makes two fantastic diving stops to save Scotland's hopes, from two powerful Spanish headers. The first to deny Jennifer Hermoso was from point-blank range.

The life of a goalkeeper eh?

  15. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Portugal 1-1 England

Man City's Nikita Parris wins England a free-kick near the corner flag, out on the right.

Alex Greenwood curls it in low, but Portugal head it away.

  16. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Spain

Flappy keeper! Sandra Panos can easily claim this Scotland cross but elects to boom a pair of fists through it instead. Luckily for her, the clearance falls to a Spanish shirt.

Better from Scotland in the build-up though. That's the first time they've had the ball that high up the pitch in ages.

    Portugal 1-1 England

Alex Greenwood sends in a clever cross from the England left, from a free-kick, but it's just slightly deflected beyond the path of Millie Bright at the far post. Bad luck.

Scotland really struggling to make anything from what little possession they have.

Frankie Brown massively overhits her long pass over the top in search of a left-wing runner who simply isn't there.

  20. Sampson frustrated on sidelinespublished at 30 mins

    Portugal 1-1 England

    Alistair Magowan
    BBC Sport in Tilburg

Mark Sampson is cutting a frustrated figure after his side conceded their first goal of the tournament. He's telling Nikita Parris to get closer to the ball, and was screaming for the team to break forward more quickly when a counter-attack opportunity presented itself.

Mostly, though, he must be disappointed with his side's lack of possession so far. They just aren't keeping the ball.
