The corner is cleared in scrappy style but only as far as Denmark's Sanne Troelsgaard, who dinks a half volley towards goal from range. It flies straight past Sari van Veenendaal, but just wide of the post.

The hosts breathe a big sigh of relief.

Line Roddik comes on at the back for Denmark, in place of Simone Boye Sorensen, who goes off injured.

From the resulting free-kick, delivered from way out on the left wing, Denmark's Sofie Pedersen heads downwards at goal but it's easily gathered by keeper Sari van Veenendaal.

Dutch defender Stephanie van der Gragt is booked for a late tackle on Denmark captain Pernille Harder, who is always looking to create something, so busy, so energetic, so skillful.

Now the hosts go close to a fourth goal, but midfielder Jackie Groenen is slightly off balance and leaning back as she swerves a shot just high and wide of the top corner, from a fraction outside the penalty area.

Substitute Frederikke Thogersen blazes just wide for Denmark, as the ball bounced to her in the area when Dutch keeper Sari van Veenendaal rose to punch away a cross. Another change goes begging.

Well, Germany beat England 6-2 in this final eight years ago, so we aren't quite on those levels yet, but this thriller is far, far more evenly matched.

The Danes almost equalise! Katrine Veje powers a sweet strike on to the post after a fine counter attack. It could easily be 3-3 there. So close.

Stina Lykke Petersen somehow, SOMEHOW denies Vivianne Miedema from six yards. It's a magnificent instinctive save, sticking her leg out, to keep out the Arsenal striker's powerful volley at the back post.

That could be a crucial moment in the game.

It was a daisy-cutter of a free-kick to put the Dutch ahead.

The hosts make the game's first change, as Arsenal's Dominique Janssen comes on at the back for Desiree van Lunteren, who picked up a knock in the first half.

So four Gunners players are on the field now.

Kika van Es does well down the left for the Oranje, but her deep cross is slightly overhit and Shanice van de Sanden can't quite reach it.

It's all the Netherlands now. They're enjoying a fine spell of pressure. Are Denmark tiring?
