I think Stefano Okaka has done well up front. There were a few raised eyebrows, but he has done himself the power of good today.

A really good half from Watford's point of view. Liverpool are one of the big beasts of the Premier League but it's clear the hosts have got a gameplan - sit deep then counter-attack.

So far so good, both in terms of the scoreline and the team performance. Watford can be pleased with that first 45 minutes.

Mane remains the most dangerous Liverpool player. It's a really interesting physical battle between him and Amrabat, whose job appears to be simply to stub him out.

It is little Sadio Mane who leaps highest to flick a header towards the back post, but Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes breaths a sigh of relief as he sees it skip inches wide of the post.

The Brazilian stopper was diving towards it, but was not getting there.

The Egyptian is picked out on the right-edge of the box by a precise Jordan Henderson pass.

Salah attempts to play the ball back into the danger area with his right foot, but can only screw it over Heurelho Gomes's goal.

FOUR added minutes because of the stoppage due to Daryl Janmaat's injury early on in the match.
