Soon after, the yellow card is out again, this time for a late tackle by the newly-introduced Arfield on Marcos Alonso.

Two changes for Burnley. Defour and Gudmundsson are replaced by Scott Arfield and Jonathan Walters. The latter making his debut.

3-2! Wait... no! The flag is up. Alvaro Morata has had a nightmare.

Andreas Christiansen's shot from an angle is going in. It doesn't need the touch from Morata, who is offside and prompts the flag to rise.

Morata has looked absolutely superb since he's come on, especially his movement. He looks 100% a centre forward and looks like the sort of plyer who can deliver something special.

Questions, though, need to be asked of the manager - why wasn't he brought on at half-time?

Nothing has changed in this second half. Chelsea can't make the ball stick and are struggling to get enough men forward.

I've been watching Antonio Conte's reactions throughout this game - I have never seen such disgust and dismay.

Chance for Burnley. Robbie Brady gets in round the back but steers his diving header wide. That would have driven in the final nail.

Johnny Magrinho: I can genuinely see another red card for Chelsea - they look rattled & very, very frustrated. Luiz odds on to get an early bath.

Aaron Grierson: Chelsea aren't dead and buried...that was sarcasm, Chelsea have been rubbish.

Marcus Overend: Even though things aren't going well for Chelsea today, you can see how important Alonso is going to be for them. Class.

More screams from Chelsea fans and players as Ben Mee slides in late on Morata. It was clumsy but not as dangerous as Cahill's earlier, hence the yellow card.

Chelsea are suddenly up for this. A home goal now would make things interesting.

Good save, Tom Heaton. Marcos Alonso's free-kick is heading for the top corner, but the Clarets keeper rises to tip it over.

The resulting corner leads to calls for a penalty for a tackle that leaves Rudiger on the floor. Didn't look anything in it to me.

Biggest cheer from the home fans all afternoon is reserved for a booking for Robbie Brady for a shove on a Blues player. I think the Chelsea fans feel a bit hard done by, by Craig Pawson.

Morata's first shot in English football flies well over the bar. He scored on his league debut in Spain and Italy. he may have to do even more than that this afternoon if Chelsea are to get anything... which is looking very unlikely.

Morata replaces Batshuayi, who has done nothing.
