I do not know whether Dele Alli has made a big deal about that or not. This is the downside to Jonjo Shelvey, because at times he lets himself down. He is the captain today as well as he has let his team down.

Dele Alli is on the ground, holding the ball and Jonjo Shelvey comes over and steps on Alli's foot, right in front of Andre Mariner.

Out comes the red card and Shelvey mouths "embarrassing" as he makes his way off the pitch.
