What a great day of action from the EFL, eh? There's been everything, red cards, comebacks, stunning goals and a Frank Nouble hat-trick. I'm thrilled.

For now though, I must bit you adieu. I'm going to get an early night and wake up for some massive boxing match that's apparently happening at about 5am.

I hope you all enjoy your evening. Thank you very much for joining us today.

    FT: Nottm Forest 0-2 Leeds

Leeds United defender Liam Cooper told Sky Sports:

"It's always nice to start the international break with three points. We knew we'd get chances in the second half. I enjoyed it, what a great win.

"It's team effort and it starts up front. The boys worked their socks off and it makes it easier to defend."

Leeds United forward Kemar Roofe told Sky Sports:

"I hope I'm the answer up front. I'm just enjoying myself. First and foremost we have to get the win and if I score, it's a bonus.

"I'm used to it and I relished the moment."

    Nottm Forest 0-2 Leeds

It's all over at the City Ground and Leeds have beaten Nottingham Forest 2-0 and you have to say they deserve it.

Credit to Forest, however, they haven't simply rolled over and put up quite a fight. Mark Warburton's side just didn't have enough in front of goal though and that's what counts.

Leeds move up to third while Forest slip to sixth.

  5. Leeds playing as a team - Whelanpublished at 19:22 British Summer Time 26 August 2017

    Noel Whelan
    Ex-Leeds United striker

"That was all down to a hard, fair tackle from Kalvin Phillips.

"Alioski just had to hit it on target and that's rattled the back of the net.

"They've got the right mentality and the right habits. That's a team out there. The clean sheets aren't flukes, it's because the team are working their socks off."

Leeds really have their tails up, here. Stuart Dallas finds himself unmarked, races into the box and shoots on goal but it's just wide.

There's five minutes of time added on here and it wouldn't surprise me if we see another goal.

Ezgjan Alioski lays the ball to Samuel Saiz to shoot on goal and why not, right? They're 2-0 up and time's running out, might as well have a crack.

What followed was more of a conversion attempt instead of a goal. Dear oh dear.

Leeds make another change as Ronaldo Vieira is replaced Kalvin Phillips.

Ezgjan Alioski you son of a gun.

He's fired in a fierce shot from just outside the box and Jordan Smith has got no chance. Pick that one out of the onion bag, son.

Tremendous. I love goals like that.

Oh Samuel Saiz. He works on to a ball in the box and there are options all over the shop but for some reason he takes it on himself to fire straight at a Forest defender, ending their impending attack.

    Terrific stuff from Leeds here.

Stuart Dallas, from an acute angle, fires just wide of goal. If that had have gone in, it would have been an absolute pearler.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 82 mins

    Nottm Forest 0-1 Leeds

A scramble in the Forest box sees a Leeds shot cleared and Luke Ayling literally pushes Ben Brereton down in midfield for the funniest booking I've seen in a while.

  13. Postpublished at 80 mins

    Nottm Forest 0-1 Leeds

Zach Clough's shot cannons off a Leeds shirt and goes out for a corner which eventually comes to nothing.

Replays show Luke Ayling with some heavy hands around Matt Mills in the box, but much to the frustration of the Forest faithful, nothing is given.

    Nottm Forest 0-1 Leeds

Deary me. Forest left-back Armand Traore looks like he's in some discomfort and the hosts have used all three of their substitutions.

    Can Leeds capitalise?

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 75 mins

    Nottm Forest 0-1 Leeds

Goalscorer Kemar Roofe comes off for Stuart Dallas. There is to be no hat-trick today, but the Leeds fans give him a well-earned round of applause for his efforts.

    Nottm Forest 0-1 Leeds

Forest's Ben Brereton falls down in the box but there's little contact with Liam Cooper. The home fans sound antsy, now. They want a goal.

    Nottm Forest 0-1 Leeds

Kemar Roofe finds some space and powers a shot at goal but Forest's Joe Worrall pulls off a tremendous block to neutralise the danger.

I think we're in for a tense final quarter of an hour, here.

  18. I must improve players - Farkepublished at 18:59 British Summer Time 26 August 2017

    FT: Millwall 4-0 Norwich

    Daniel FarkeImage source, Rex Features

Norwich City fell to a 4-0 defeat at Millwall and head coach Daniel Farke admitted he was "embarrassed" after the game.

He told BBC Norfolk: "I'm really annoyed today.

"Conceding 12 goals in five games makes it impossible to win games.

"I won't complain about the quality of the players. It is up to me to improve them. I have to find solutions.

"I'm frustrated and I understand the fans being concerned. We have to improve."

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 71 mins

    Nottm Forest 0-1 Leeds

Forest make their third and final change of the match as Daryl Murphy's replaced by Jason Cummings.

Thumbs down that neither of these players have 'Jay' anywhere in their name.

New Leeds signing Jay-Roy Grot (strong first part of your forename, lad) comes on for Pablo Hernandez.
