There's more goals in this, I can feel it.

Credit where it's due, Forest haven't sat back after going a goal down but they are just lacking the ability to latch on to that final ball in front of goal.

Barrie McKay races down the wing and plays in towards the box but there's no one on the end of it.

A Forest free-kick is whipped into the box towards the onrushing Daryl Murphy, who just can't get any contact on the ball. An inch the other way and that surely would have gone in.

Both Leeds United and Nottingham Forest enjoyed thumping EFL Cup wins this week. Kemar Roofe scored a hat-trick as Leeds thrashed Newport County 5-1 while Forest beat Premier League side Newcastle United 3-2 after extra time.

Leeds were rather generous towards their visitors, however. They agreed to honour the usual 45% share of gate income with the Exiles despite not being required to, after Newport could not play the tie at their Rodney Parade home as their pitch is being relaid.
