  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 17:48 British Summer Time 30 July 2017

    Austria 0-0 Spain

Rather predictably perhaps, given Spain's tournament so far, it's goalless at the break.

  2. CLOSE!published at 44 mins

    Austria 0-0 Spain

Almost the opener! Amanda Sampedro breaks into the Austria penalty area and lays it back for the fast arriving Silvia Meseguer, she side-foots it - wide!

    Very close indeed...

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 42 mins

    Austria 0-0 Spain

Nadine Prohaska is on for the stricken Lisa Makas, who is having her left knee strapped on the sidelines. She's in floods of tears. Tournament over you'd suspect.

  4. ouch!

Ouch. Austria forward Lisa Makas goes down in agony, no real challenge but it looks like her knee buckled with her foot stuck in the pitch. She is not going to run this off.

  5. 'Austria will be feeling good'published at 17:36 British Summer Time 30 July 2017

Austria will be feeling good about things, they have contained Spain pretty well and now they can think about playing their own game. They have to spend so much time waiting to get possession, they have to do a better job of keeping the ball when they get it.

At times they been a little bit sloppy and handed it straight back. Incidentally on a warm and muggy day here in Tilburg both coaches are a picture of sartorial elegance, fully suited and booted, the same can’t be said for the majority of the working media here.

    Austria 0-0 Spain

Austria carve Spain apart with a swift passing move but the flag is raised to stop Nina Burger in her tracks. Not the greatest half hour - the game needs a goal. A reminder that the winners face Denmark in the semi-finals and we could go all the way to penalties...

Can England end their 43-year hoodoo against France?

Jonathan Pearce, Rachel Brown-Finnis and Caroline Barker are discussing this evening's huge quarter-final on Facebook Live.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 31 mins

    Austria 0-0 Spain

Firm but fair? Vicky Losada goes into the book for a lunging tackle which looked fine to me, not reckless and won the ball cleanly. Aggressive though and that's enough for the ref to hand a yellow card and give a free-kick to Austria in a dangerous spot. Spain clear.

Laura Feiersinger, who makes me want to sing Prodigy lyrics every time the commentator says her name, is lively on the right and twice in quick succession gets away from a defender but can't find the final ball. She then wins the ball back on halfway to launch a counter but again Austria can't complete the pass they need.

Koning Willem II Stadium holds just over 14,500 people and it is about 1/3 full today. It is the home of Willem II, whose notable former players include Spurs midfielder Moussa Dembélé, former Arsenal winger Marc Overmars, Manchester United defender Jaap Stam and former Sheffield Wednesday and Northern Ireland striker James Quinn.

Mark Sampson's first XI will be back after getting a rest against Portugal, when England were well below par. I hope it hasn't arrested their momentum. They'll need Jodie Taylor and Fran Kirby to move the French defence around early on and they'll need to get to grips with Amandine Henry.

England at their best can lay to rest that 43-year-old hoodoo. I said at the start they can win this tournament. I'm sticking to that.

Another Spanish speculator, a long-range strike from Amanda Sampedro which flies across the face of goal and ends up a foot or two wide. The keeper did not have that covered...

  13. Postpublished at 17 mins

    Austria 0-0 Spain

It has been all Spain but Austria then put together a flowing move, Nina Burger at the heart of it but her cross from the right is overhit and Spain clear at the back post.

All Spain so far, they are keeping the ball really well and Austria are defending deep in their own half. It is the Austrian fans on the far side who are making all the noise with their drums and thunder sticks.

    Austria 0-0 Spain

Spain already on the passing carousel as Austria struggle to get anywhere near the ball for long periods of time. After a long spell of play Mariona Caldentey whips the cross in and Maria Paz is almost free to meet it with a header. Spain well on top, but we've seen this from them before.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 7 mins

    Austria 0-0 Spain

Spain having a good spell as the tricky Vicky Losada shoots from range, takes a nick off the back of an Austrian and needs a diving save from Manuela Zinsberger to claw it away.

From the corner there's a chance for Irene Paredes but she stabs the loose ball wide!

The first real shot on goal, though it's more of an overhit pass over the top from Vicky Losada but Austria keeper Manuela Zinsberger has to save from in front of a crowd of bodies.

  18. 'Austria working hard'published at 17:05 British Summer Time 30 July 2017

    Austria 0-0 Spain

    Seth Bennett

After all the rain of the last 24 hours I am sure everyone is happy that the sun is out. The pitch looks pretty good, which should help the passing game of Spain, but Austria have plenty of attacking intent and their front three will work really hard to stop Spain playing out from the back.

There is an equal mix of England and France fans in Deventer, a town famous for its cake and about 75km west of the German border.

French supporter Kinwai (right) of the 'Irresistible Francais' fans group says his team are technically and physically a match for England but "not mentally strong'.

However, he wonders if Mark Sampson's side are "too confident" and, regardless of France's form so far, says the quarter finals mark a new competition.

    Loving the mind games, Kinwai!
