Steph Houghton just got caught chasing the ball and Marie-Laure Delie was able to take a shot. France are looking to take advantage of space in behind Lucy Bronze when she attacks. England need to be careful.

England perhaps lacking a bit of width in attack but Mark Sampson's side look very difficult to play against. A physical side, not afraid to do the dirty work.

This is the sixth time that Mark Sampson has faced France, with two draws and three defeats to his name so far. He's been full of beans about tonight though. A solid opening 10 minutes from England.

Danger from France again as Kadidiatou Diani threatens down the left but captain Steph Houghton stays with her for long enough to see Jade Moore get back in and clear. A much higher intensity from both sides so far.

France fans to my right are re-enacting the Icelandic 'Thunderclap' and are making a right racket with drums and clappers.

They are bathed in sunshine behind Karen Bardsley's goal, which could be a problem for the England goalkeeper, who is holding her hands up to shield the sun.

France look sharp in attack already.

Brave from Jill Scott to head the ball in to the area and Jodie Taylor almost flicks it over the head of the last defender, Taylor then volleys one in but it's high and wide.

Karen Bardsley in the England goal is facing directly into the late low sunshine. The French goalkeeper Sarah Bouhaddi has already opted to kick long at every opportunity. That could be a problem for England in this half.

Danger for England as the lively Eugenie le Sommer pulls out wide right but her cross is cleared by Demi Stokes. Jill Scott then breaks up the play and looks for Jordan Nobbs on the right but she's a bit out of range.

Sarah Bouhaddi was very brave to stop Millie Bright. Early warning signs for France there.

Karen Bardsley in the England goal then has to be alive to come off her line and sweep up a pass from Camille Abily.

This game has already had more action than the whole of the Austria game...

Jodie Taylor, four goals in two games so far in the tournament, buys England a very early free-kick as she gets physical with Laura Georges. The first ball in of the night tests keeper Sarah Bouhaddi but she gets there.

Austria have done it, they have had a great tournament so far and now they are into the semi finals where they will play Denmark. The game may have lacked goals but they were perfect from the spot.

Spain are understandably emotional, but they haven’t done enough with the quality of possession they have had in the tournament. Three of the final four now decided, but could a debutant win it all?

Mark Sampson, England Head Coach: "We think this is the best team to get the job done tonight and we also know we've got some great finishers on the bench if we need them later on. We know we've got adaptability and variety in our team - we're completely confident and ready to go."
