City scored five against Liverpool and they could have even more than that tonight by the end of play. Kevin de Bruyne's free-kick from the left is pushed out by Brad Jones and buried on the rebound - but the flag is already up for offside.

Liverpool get a huge slice of luck but they are now in front against Sevilla! Mohamed Salah wins the ball back from Steven Nzonzi with a muscular tackle, he then hits a low shot from about 25 yards, which hits Simon Kjaer and takes a whacking huge deflection over the goalkeeper and into the net.

Liverpool still looking like a bit of a cut-and-shut. Superb at one end, ropey at the other. The game is incredibly stretched though. Chances still to come.

Well played! Christian Pulisic burns away from Toby Alderweireld on the Dortmund left, feeds over a cross and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is poised to level things up until Jan Vertonghen snakes out a boot to hack it clear.

This will not end 2-1. Not a chance.

Basics, basics, basics. Play to the whistle!

Benjamin Mendy rattles in a shot from the edge of the area, Brad Jones palms it out and everyone in red and white stops as Nicolas Otamendi is clearly offside.

Unfortunately for them, Gabriel Jesus is very much onside and almost walks the loose ball into the empty net. The goal stands.

    Liverpool 1-1 Sevilla

And now Liverpool should be ahead! Devastating counter-attack, Sadio Mane at the apex of it, Roberto Firmino with the decoy run which pulls Sevilla's defence to one side and frees Emre Can through the middle - he should score but he drags it wide!

Another brilliant goal! Everyone is bringing their best games to the table tonight. Alberto Moreno swaps passes with an intricate one-two inside the Sevilla area, the Spaniard has a very narrow corridor to thread a cross but puts the camel through the needle and finds Roberto Firmino six yards out for a tap-in!

Moreno has his many critics, but when he attacks like that he's a potent weapon.

They are so, so deep, Feyenoord. City put together another flowing move which ends at the feet of Sergio Aguero but the back four are only about seven yards out! They show Aguero on to his left foot but his shot is saved by former Liverpool keeper Brad Jones.
