Sam Hartles‏: Serge Aurier might be the worst signing of the summer. Absolutely clueless when it comes to defending.

Josh Earl: Ice cool from Ronaldo under pressure.. Very, very stupid challenge from Aurier,

Dennis Ethan: That's a ridiculous dive by Toni Kroos.

    Man City 2-0 Napoli

    Simon Stone

Another superb half for Manchester City, not just the goals but hitting the bar and a penalty save.

Just to put it into context, it is the first time Napoli have conceded twice in the opening period of any game since they lost at home to Besiktas in October last year.

It has been a fabulous game of football to watch.

Tottenham looked a little bit nervous, a little bit in awe, in the first 15 minutes but then they started to come into their own, dominating and creating chances.

Harry Kane's run across Raphael Varane meant he took his eye of the ball and it went in off his trailing leg.

But then it was scintillating play by Real Madrid in the build-up to their equalising penalty. There were two or three one-twos on the edge of the box and a brilliant touch from Kroos invited the last ditch tackle.

Toni Kroos waited for the challenge and it came. It was a penalty. It was sparkling football leading up to it, the first time we've seen one-touch football at pace from Real Madrid.

A brilliant penalty hit with pace, power and direction. Even if Lloris went the right way I don't think he would have got near it.

Another for Liverpool and they are well worth their lead.

The Reds are lining up to score.

Alberto Moreno puts a low cross into the box and Mohamed Salah clips in from close range.

Behind him was team-mate Roberto Firmino waiting to gobble it up had his team-mate made a mess of it. He didn't.

    John Southall
BBC Radio 5 live football reporter in Maribor

Well this is all very straightforward. Credit to the home fans, who are still making plenty of noise despite watching their team being taken apart by Liverpool. The front three have all scored, which will please Jurgen Klopp after some criticism for a lack of goals. Not bad for a funny loser.

Fair to say, City have not given Napoli a sniff tonight.

Makeshift left-back Fabien Delph is making that position his own and gets back in the nick of time to pinch the ball off Dries Mertens in the box.
