I can't see this game finishing 1-0. There looks like there could be goals from all over the pitch so far.

    Roma 1-0 Chelsea

Radja Nainggolan blasts over after a flowing Roma move. Roma are great to watch, as are Napoli, Juventus. Italian football has had a makeover.

    Roma 1-0 Chelsea

This is how Roma scored their goal, Aleksandar Kolarov bombed down the left, found former Manchester City team-mate Edin Dzeko and he flicked it down to Stephan El Shaarawy for an absolute Halloween screamer.

    Manchester United 0-0 Benfica

Anthony Martial swings a free-kick over the bar from 20 yards, it's a bright start at Old Trafford.

Benfica threaten as Andreas Samaris shoots wide. He's on the bench according to my Uefa team sheet - he was a late change for Filipe Augusto.

    Roma 1-0 Chelsea

Roma get the ball into the area again but can't get a shot away before Marcos Alonso flashes a cross across goal.

    A superb game already.

  6. 'Fabulous counter-attack'published at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Roma 1-0 Chelsea

    Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC Radio 5 live in Rome

That was a fabulous counter-attack from Chelsea. Hazard just spun in behind the full-back and was one-on-one with the keeper but he just ran out of space at the end.

    Good chance!

  7. CLOSE!published at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Celtic 0-0 Bayern

And now Celtic should score inside the first five minutes!

What a chance this is. James Forrest stands up a cross, it's made for Stuart Armstrong, just watch it onto your left instep - takes his eye off it and shanks it wide.

    He was six yards out...

    Celtic 0-0 Bayern Munich

The usual superb atmosphere in Glasgow.

Bayern showing some early attacking intent. Early corner, that Celtic manage to clear.

  9. CLOSE!published at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Man Utd 0-0 Benfica

This could easily have gone in.

Benfica have started well at Old Trafford, where they have not won in four previous visits, and earn an early corner.

It is swung in dangerously and comes off the thigh of skipper for the night Chris Smalling, but loops nicely into the hands of goalkeeper David de Gea.

  10. 'Game on our hands'published at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Roma 1-0 Chelsea

    Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC Radio 5 live in Rome

What a start to the game. We knew there were going to be goals in this game and when it fell to the edge of the box Shaarawy caught it absolutely unbelievably.

He just rifled it past Thibaut Courtois. What a start to the game! Chelsea are contesting for a handball from Edin Dzeko.

I'm not so sure it was! But it was an unbelievable strike. We have a game on our hands here!

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Roma 1-0 Chelsea

Before that goal, Pedro had a clear run in on goal but he was challenged and the chance was gone. Marcos Alonso thinks that there was a handball from Edin Dzeko in the build-up too.

Now Eden Hazard is into the area, tight angle, saved by Alisson Becker.

Can these two play every week please?!

GOAL - Roma 1-0 Chelseapublished at 19:47 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2017

    Stephan El Shaarawy

A goal in 42 seconds! Chelsea still had time to have a chance through Pedro before Roma whack the ball downfield and score an absolute belter!

A long ball up for Edin Dzeko, he nods it down and Stephan El Shaarawy hits a dream of a shot from 20 yards into the back of the net. Outside of the right foot, smashing shot.

    Manchester United 0-0 Benfica

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Jose Mourinho strode purposefully down the touchline from the tunnel to his seat.

He had one small wave for the fans applauding him on his way but he was concentrating mainly on getting to the dugout as his side look for the win that would almost certainly confirm their place in the knockout round with two matches to spare.

Raiden: Shaw's issue is a clear lack of interest in fitness training. He's been singled out by every manager who has managed him.

John Brazier: A lot of digs at Mourinho over treatment of Shaw; no-one outside Utd knows specifics. Ferguson wouldn't have got such scepticism

It is a big night for Celtic.

Of course the players will feel the pressure because they are a big club. Celtic fans will expect them to beat Bayern Munich!

It will be a tough night. Will they sit back like they did in Germany or give it more of a go like they usually do?
